right, after 5 hours my doges have finally appeared on coinedup.
now obviously i'm not going to sell until we reach the moon, but i've had enough of those coinedup jokers so if i transfer my precious doge over to coin-e, is it likely to take ages again?

I've had pending LTC for 5+ hours at CoinedUp and now I can't even get it to recognize my OpenID to even see if they've finally deposited.

MUCH FRUSTRATION

Anyone mining on ypool.net able to help me? First of all I have no idea to what the share value/h translates into, and I'm getting much less Doge's than expected. I have about 1145kH/s (1050 WU) and have gotten maybe 5k doge in 5 hours. I should be getting way more.

Since finding high value shares is based on luck we use a simple rule to improve fairness: Each share is valid accross several rounds (20 for FTC, 160 for XPM). When you start mining you will notice a 'ramp up' period in which your share value per round adds up. When you stop mining you will see the opposite effect. Because of this we recommend that you mine at least half a day before you draw any conclusions about your earnings.

You can see your share value for the current round under 'SHARES' at the top right corner. When a block is found the round ends and the value is reset to zero. You can see a history of your share values per block on the personal stats page. Although be aware that the personal stats can be delayed by up to 20 minutes in rare cases.

Your balance should continue to climb even if you stop mining. Not sure exactly how it works though.

It builds up over time. Keep mining and your % shares will increase.

Have been wondering about this, what happens if you shutdown the mining client and turn it back on? is your shares still there?

Why a favour?

They are selling off their DOGEs to us at below value only to have it rise back up and we profit. Plus it will rise further because the people aiming to make a quick buck no longer have it.

Don`t panic! Organize!
Bunch of open P2pool nodes on standard port:
Code:
111.69.243.158:9555
37.187.90.15:9555
95.85.19.109:9555
162.243.109.168:9555
188.165.19.28:9555
91.237.77.7:9555
37.187.25.91:9555
137.135.40.81:9555
85.214.22.17:9555
23.253.68.132:9555
Just check which one is fastest for you (low ping), check on page %local doa and %effie. If %effie is ~100% and %local doa <10% then node is not overloaded and can be used.
Check node fee under /fee most is 0%-1%
Remember to use -Q 0 on cgminer
Add few nodes as backup
-o ip:port -u D00ge -p wow -o ip2:port2 -u D00ge -p wow -o ip3:port3 -u D00ge -p wow
This way if node fails you will still mine on another one - payut will sum.
P2pool is ~200MH/s and block is every ~1.5h. For now Smiley

Bitcoin - love & hate
keep selling cheap boys your doing us all favor

Come on?
It's a scamcoin...

With a good rig, even @ 80 satoshis, the return is much higher than LTC mining. With a decent rig you can still mine 100k doges per day.

@ begging : you run a pc with 50kh/s ? Power costs will be higher than return... probably a kid, parent pay the power bill.

I have ONE simple question: is there SOMEBODY mining and finding blocks??? PLEASE do NOT spam me with SCAM pools.
I see doge.scryptpools.com seem to have found 6 blocks in the last hour.

Screen of one of my workers (8 CPUs) minning for http://doge.scryptpools.com/

Commooon mate, that's just 10 minutes Cheesy
I'm currently minning with 10 x 8 CPUs (80 CPUs - 5 cloud servers per account) which costs me about $20.
http://dogecoin.ga/dogecoin_mining_cloud_servers.htm

People with higher budget can do much better!   Tongue

What software are you using to cpu mine? I can't find anything that does CPU mining with stratum protocol. If I try enable CPU mining with cudaminer (I think it's with the -H flag?) my hashrate only goes up by 2kh/s and my cpu usage goes up like 5%.

This question is not for me, but I try to answer it from my point of view. I use pooler cpuminer 2.3.2 for win. It is suitable for stratum. My AMD FX 8350 with 8 cores gives something like 60 - 64 Khash. Some antiviruses reported about virus, something like CPU MINER..., but others are silent. I think it's safe, but I use it on machine with no valuable data.

Thanks for the reply, that's the one I tried using and I always get "empty reply from server", which as I understand is what happens if you try to connect to a pool that's using the stratum protocol when your miner is using a different one. Is there any way to force pooler cpuminer to use stratum?
