just a few questions as newbie for solo mining... please tell if it's correct what i'm doing:
1) put a file called dogecoin.conf in the %appdata%\roaming\dogecoin folder (is it correct the filename?)
2) the file must contain the following:
rpcuser=doge
rpcpassword=wow
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=67.205.20.10
addnode=162.243.113.110
rpcport=22555
server=1
daemon=1
is that sufficient or do i've to add ' addnode=127.0.0.1 ' ?
3) launch the wallet from cmd with the -server parameter: dogecoin-qt.exe -server
4) let it synchronize
5) launch cgminer as follow: cgminer.exe --scrypt -u doge -p wow -o 127.0.0.1:22555 --gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -w 256 -v 1 -I 18 -g 1 -l 1 -T --thread-concurrency 6144
Is everything correct??

Add rpcallowip as shown above. FYI, solo mining is near dead. Better off getting in a pool. fast-pool.com is good or if you have a decent GPU, http:fast-pool.com:9555-->p2pool. and probably you'd be happy to know I was already mining on fast-pool p2p
Try Vista SP2 I have Win 7 and it opens like that. I don't encrypt so you'll have to try it.
