I wish. The market cap is whatever the price per coin is, multiplied by the number of coins that have been mined so far. Coin marketcap is saying its at 2 mil....which is good because its not even on a real exchange yet.

It is a shiba inu, shibe is just a nickname they use in the meme. It is a Japanese dog breed, my girlfriend has one. We took Japanese through out high school.

LOL, I now see there is an official mac client: http://dogecoin.org/downloads/dogecoin-qt-0.6.4.0-Mac.zip. I have no idea how that was built, because it did not build for me from sources with modification. See https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/issues/3 for details.
I actually agree. The Meme is what got this coin rolling. /g/ exploded with threads about Dogecoin. Most of the people on those threads had never mined any cryptocurrency before. Making it after a Meme was actually extremely beneficial.
So did the imageswap glitch, which made a lot of people on /a/ pretty mad after seeing based doge replace their waifus. 
I think netcode admins are focusing on upgrades right now. They have a lot of hashing power and need to make sure it all works before they start on small cosmetics like that.
