i have been mining dogecoins since the difficulty was 6. i'm just cpu mining on two mac laptops, so i'm only getting around 14-28 khs but those coins sure rolled in for the first few days. its just a trickle now.

don't jump around on pools, they have more even luck to their pool size over time. if you jump around you run the risk of missing all the good moments.

such coin

wow

Anyone know a pool that don't have too many lag ?

Because with lagging pool, 9/10 of my accepted on Cgminer isn't showing on dashboard.

And with not a very high diff like 256 because i'm running a 200Kh/s GPU

Thanks in advance.

- Shibe

I've been happily mining since last 2-3 days at 70Kh/s on http://doge.netcodepool.org
Difficulty is almost same in all the pools, which GPU you have btw ? as in exact model

Guys. It doesn't matter in any way how much they mine. Doesn't matter how many coins.
It's relative. And it's the same with every coin. ---- MARKET CAP is what matters.

The market cap is ALL that matters. And it will take months to mine all those coins.
And when they are done which even at this pace will take a long time - market cap will be over 100 million anyway. Maybe more. A lot more.
But I like to be conservative. No other coin EVER other than Bitcoin has this much momentum. This blows Quark away.
If it's market cap stabilizes at 100 million, which is the same as quark was, then :

10 million coins (with ALL coins fully mined) will be worth === $10,000

so if you paid less than that... relax.

Hey Yoyo, just to be clear, $10,000 for teh ENTIRE MARKET or per coin? *confused*

1 million would be worth $1000 USD

10 million coins will be worth $10,000 USD

All the coins fully mined in total (market cap) will be worth $100,000,000.00

per coin would be $0.001 or $100,000,000 for 100,000,000,000 coins.
Which would be very nice. And will likely be the case.

Now if it hits 1 billion cap.. well. Damn. Add a zero.!

I think I was just getting impatient. This is the first cryptocurrency I've followed seriously and that dip was kind of a heart attack. Funny part is I knew that the panic sell was a normal thing and that it is healthy for the coin long term. I think it just hurts watching something go from 1 BTC per mill to .5 and below in just a few minutes.

Selling small is fine, but doing it at way below market isn't good. Too many people are selling off at well below what people are willing to pay and it's making Doge look worse. Anyone selling at less than .5 BTC per mill is dragging the doge down.
don't worry. loosers will sell for low, others will buy and resell at higher prices.
Buy cheap coins by yourself and resell.
Anyway easy/cheap coins going to end soon as difficulty rises exponentially.
I've tripled my doges at coinedup buying low selling high, not to mention profit from boards trading.

Would love to see the dev implement proof of stake, if possible at this point.

Only a couple pools have proven they can run without losing coins / downtime / etc and it has resulted in a lot of consolidation of hashing power.  The possibility of a 51% attack is real.

New to dogecoin, what can I expect from 1000kh/s in dogecoin on average after fees etc.?

Doge: DQf4NHHFGjVC5dfKWhQMz6Ark8q9o4xMTN

It's difficult to say since Dogecoin difficulty is shooting up exponentially. (See: http://www.dogechain.info//chain/Dogecoin/statistics)

But this site says around 140k. http://www.dogeme.me.pn/

He could probably expect 100k/day if he's lucky, difficulty should be adjusting again soon.

I think 75k is the safer estimate taking into account the rise in difficulty (rises 5-6 times a day).

Is this a problem with the pool or my router?

https://i.imgur.com/10TN6vQ.jpg

Everything should be wide open but using a site that tests ports reports that 3333 is Closed

e:  I should probably post this in the thread for the pool, please ignore unless I'm doing something generically incorrect

Are there any pools at all finding blocks? I went from 2,232,000 coins per day to 0 and have tried over 10 pools , the window of cgminer never says block found either. Anyone know whats going on or where there is a good pool at least that works?
