Plus a rise in altcoin value is not necessarily a sign of sustainable growth in value (although I'd argue that bitcoins age have proven it sustainable even after surviving a few dips).

Indeed. The satire of the lack of intrinsic value of all cryptocoins is what makes this coin brilliant, and is why I straight up just bought 1 million of these because I was racing to get the miner ready and I said to myself...I have BTC, fuck it.

I was still getting 10 mill a day with 10000 kh/s but yes, i must digress, I am fixing to have to turn my miners off, or find a damn good stable pool.. Anyone know one?

I'm mining with 370kh/s on http://pool.testserverino.de and I get approx 20-200 Coins every 2 to 6 Minutes.
