The other pool is going down soon so it would definitely be good to have multiple pools up

Do I need to install anything extra other than a miner to mine that pool? I've been mining 12 hours there and I think I do something wrong since I havent had a payout, how can I check if its working?

You should just choose a different pool, such as ScryptPools.

Mining P2Pool? Get in on a regular pool, much Doge such fast.

Aslong as I get my dogecoins I don't care how long it takes. What is the difference with regular pools? (other than time)
Is there any way to know if it works what I do?

Would be great if you could just give a brief guidance on how to configure CgMiner (3.5 downloaded from your earlier post in this thread) to mine Dogecoins.
