if you mean inflation, a supposed limited fork would be something like "dogecoin gold". The number of coins could be reduced using the megadoge, each megadoge would be worth $650k
To use it as currency the current number of coins is ideal. The irony of the joke is that a highly absurd amount of coins were mined, however now I understand that the absurd is a coin with lots of decimal places to which you have to add another messy amount for the fee. I hate bitcoin for payments, it gives me a headache.
That said, the minimum fee for dogecoin should currently be 1 cent of doge.

A real hero goes out of his way to help others, but if that action also benefits him then he doesn't really qualify as a hero since he's acting out of self-interest.
I'm not defending Elon Musk, but see that even the hero is selfish and acts out of self-interest in an unconscious way. His actions and results derive from his desire to want to accomplish something, even if those results do not benefit in some kind of value, but the benefit is still in the pleasure of accomplishing something. I sold a total of 10 millions dogecoins around 2014 , I was selling them on Gumtree and Ebay back then. The screenshot is one of my ads I had on gumtree around 2014

Doge is a coin meme that was created as a joke, and now looks like something incredible. Judging by Musk's activity on Twitter, he can easily push the price up to $ 1. It seemed crazy a year ago.
It's true that the price can go up to $1, but you did not mention the fact that DOGE is an old coin and useful for quick transactions. At least it used to be, I say that because I don't know how it's today. A year ago, Musk's support for DOGE was imaginable. no one could imagine this. I, even being a fanboy, have sold a lot of dogecoin cheaply (at times when I thought it was very expensive, above 80 satoshi ) because I couldn't believe it was going that high.
But now I think that everything is possible, even that it becomes the first currency. Yes, I said well, the coin with the highest capitalization.
Most people assumed that they missed the Bitcoin train, which is currently just a reserve value like gold for companies, institutions, and large fortunes, very expensive and difficult to understand.
However, Dogecoin is seen more as the easy entry currency for everyone, with a reasonable value, that you can buy 50, 200, 500... and have fun watching it grow.
If new millions of young (and not so young) users continue to enter, encouraged by the FOMO, the price will continue to rise and more companies will accept it, more large investors will see their opportunity, and new personalities and influencers will advertise it, which will keep the snowball growing.
