You are an older member of this forum, so I am, again, shocked that you don't know that much that the dogecoin community resides mostly on reddit. A question there, or even here(!) would have saved you some hassle. You actually got it here, but your post was not nice (or frankly said, GAY).

You know that using the core wallet implies taking your time for sync. Bitcoin, dogecoin and maybe a few other coins have light wallets (multibit, multidoge, ..). If you don't have the patience to load the chain, use such wallets.

then i get the piece of shit installer from the dog site which is gay i just wanted a fucking wallet link (which not posted here)
then i see it's an installer only.. marvelous gay shit for noobs  
so i had to run it in a sandbox then copy it to my custom install location because i don't want dog shit installers registered on my machine thanks..

then i run the piece of shit v1.8
and well well i was oooooooooooh so surprised with the warning message..

Thanks for providing these numbers, that's helpful.
One thing worth noting is that, during the April and July halving, there was a lot of fear about Dogecoin becoming more prone to 51% attacks as the block reward decreases, and obviously that made the market quite bearish. Since this is not a problem anymore, it's reasonnable to expect a price increase around the next halving.

OK, I double checked the stats and indeed it wasn't as pretty as I remember (my memory is playing tricks on me). But I wouldn't say is 'very false'.

There was only 1 halving during the summer not 3 (unless you count April and October as summer).

Lets take a look at the last 3 halvings:

28 April 2014 - the price dropped just before halving, but there was a noticeable increase between 15-17 April

15 July 2014 - massive dip in the end of June, but went up by around 30-40%, 1-2 weeks before 15th.

2 October 2014 - price was slowly climbing from ~60 sat to over 100 sat and took a nose dive right after halving.

So there is some pattern of price increase before halvings, but 'pump' wasn't the right word, my bad.

I also am long-term bullish about Dogecoin, but it's very false to say there were price pumps before each halvings. The two or three halvings that happened around summer were especially gloomy.

The biggest couple of months in Doge's history are nearly upon us, and you can bet your bottom dollar it will deliver the biggest pump ever.

It seems to be coming at a time when Bitcoin is back on the rise too, which it makes it a triple whammy of the next halving and 100 billion mining completed (and into a period of decreasing 5% inflation).

The Chinese are all over this, and I wouldn't be suprised to see a ten fold rise.  Granted it won't settle x10, but I reckon a x2 or x3 settling are very possible.

PS. Don't forget for the next 2 years there will be less new Doge coming onto the market than Bitcoin.

Why not? Next halving is coming soon (~30 days) and so far there was always a price-pump before halving. Don't think it will be any different this time.

There's also DOGE's 1st birthday approaching (8th Dec) so there will be some hype around it.

Dont count on it.
