DOGE is during main distribution stage, there are multipools that NEED TO SELL DOGE that they mine, why pay them more? There are asic owners that want to make money on you, just because they got the latest scam hardware, why pay them more? if you believe in doge, just get some, while the reward is high and price is very low, i divided my "btc4dogeFund"=D to buy at 50 40 30 20 10sat (60 sat just got filled)
Sounds like something difficult to set up, but I really like the idea.
Has anyone here gotten it working with a live or test site, and would you have any comments about the set-up/installation?

Which version do you use?
Update to 1.6 or better to 1.7 as that will be standard code base soon.
If you use anything before 1.6, you may not be able to send/receive coins.

Back up your wallet.dat file to a USB stick before you do the upgrade.

Lol, most shibes are too concerned about short term gains. They are just not seeing the potential of the coin and don't have the patience to wait. All of you panic shibes are deserved to loss your dogecoins and future profits. Go and dump the coins if you are unhappy and short sighted. It's your loss.
I don't believe that shibes have been doing most of the dumping, but mainly the outside speculators. Having less of them in our ranks, means that our growth will be more stable and natural in the future, imho. At least until the next round of speculators come in.

You already answered it , doge hype is over , now the coin is on it's own.
It's no longer the new one around the block , the traders have switched to other coins and pumpers and dumpers also.
Right now doge has joined quark , mastercoin and the others which were once in the spotlight and are there no more.
But , even with the price going down , the coin is as alive as always.
