The halving is already built into the current price.... when are people going to figure out that the markets react to predictable events BEFORE the event...

Easily 150 in May. But worth a whole lot more a few months down the road. As long as our community holds strong, we will do amazing and be financially secure once the reward settles at 10k rewards. We should not become complacent- keep doing highly publicized events such as Olympic bobsled and Nascar sponsorship, etc.

Sir, your assumption is wrong, I never proposed merged mining, I didn't even mention a merge.
The hand in hand + quote is symbolism for the cryptocommunity as a whole, let's spend less time bitching on other coins (lot's of energy wasted = divided we fall) and more time improving these beautiful coins and the cryptocommunity as a whole. (united we stand).
I especially liked the picture because it features the most awesome 2 coins backed by the most amazing communities.

BC community is pretty much the complete opposite of the doge community from what I have seen. Aggressive, intimidating, egotistical. Just go read the thread. Don't get me wrong, I've made good money off of BC (that's why it is still in my sig, I suppose) but I can't stand the attitude/mentality. They think all other coins are sh*tcoins, just because they didn't blow up like BC did, and actively go about trying to defame and destroy other coins.

The facts show something different.
DOGE recently had a rally of over 60% (~85 to 148), so to say it is "dead" would be inaccurate.

/r/Dogecoin is still more active than /r/Bitcoin, and by far more than all the other alts' communities
Well , it is more active... but...
If you go on and compare the threads and the let's say "quality" of the posts and what is discussed there.
But still , it is a lot better than any other reddit of any other altcoin.
Depends on what your standard of quality are; /r/Dogecoin has a better sense of humour, less trolls, and IMO the long and serious posts really do show a better dedication from the community to the long-term potential and challenges of the coin on technical and economical levels (ie. this one posted one hour ago about Dogecoin's image: http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/23o7o8/of_wolves_and_weasels_day_104_an_image_worth/). Tldr; The funny memes don't detract to the quality
