The price of DOGE has been affected as holders are moving on to other crypto for their investments and to a degree they are right to do so. DOGE still has popularity in some exchanges and many users convert to DOGE before withdrawing to save on fees but development seems stagnant so investors are choosing other options.

Doge coin doesn't really seem to move anymore when Bitcoin has a rise in price. I remember back a couple of years ago when Bitcoin went up in price Doge would follow but we ain't seeing this anymore as other Altcoins have taken its place. I will still hold my Doge bag for the future as anything can happen but I'm not expecting Doge to rise to its ATH.

The real value of token is that consensus needs a fair mechanism. POW is a fair birth mechanism. Consensus needs time to accumulate
#Bitcoin 11 years, litecoin 9 years, infinitecoin 7 years, dogecoin 6 years

Dogecoin usually rises or maintains its stable price when the whole market is in bloody. It is a safe haven to stay in during massacres. With Dogecoin, only patience can help you see chances to take profits. Invest in Dogecoin and wait for instant or shortly profit in return are unrealistic.

Dogecoin when it moves, it will make you surprised and vice versa, it is so boring enough to challenge your patience.

Sadly it seems clear you just one of many victims of he Yobit scam. How they can continue to operate is a huge surprise because they should have been closed down a long time ago.

I have no idea how many more victims will fall prey to the Yobit scammers but eventually the website and 'exchange' will have to close. I hope it happens sooner rather than later.

Yes, I have been one of Victim of that exchange because previously I used to trade some of the coins there without any approval from my sides the trading are automatically executed and suddenly my balance will disappear. I have raised for many support tickets, but never got any replies from the Yobit.

I love Dogecoin, currently I'm hold it and have a blog about it too.

But I fell that the project is a little bit abandoned, because of the points below:

  • Their github of Mutidoge wallet https://github.com/langerhans/multidoge was last commited in Jan 18, the wallet works but the price listing not, it will be good if it get fixed.
  • The Core wallet was last commited in Nov 19
  • Their value is going down from 30 satoshis in April to currently 27 satoshis

Also the recent delisting is frustrating.

Am I demanding too much for it? Or my observations aren't applicable?

Well that is another thing to add to the list of complaints against the Yobit scammers. Sadly their pump and dump scams are still on-going too.

Yobit charges 500 doges for a withdrawal!!!!

Every dog has its day, maybe DOGE had it during its all-time-high and it might never get back there again. The more pairs the crypto has the better it is for obvious reasons.

Binance is a massive exchange, for it to remove DOGE/ETH is a very big deal and a big blow for DOGE.

Sad to see Binance removing that pair but hopefully other markets especially BTC will remain very strong and keeping DOGE as a good potential investment for prospective crypto holders to add to their portfolio.
I will hold me Dogecoin until the end of this year. I have earned good profits with Dogecoin and time is matter to earn profit. In recent weeks, we have seen a trend of not too old altcoins and Dogecoin is one of the oldest altcoins so it might need more time to increase in value. After the current trend ends, I hope old altcoins will play their roles on the market.

They still have the DOGE/BTC pair so still good for those traders.
We don't know the reason why they delisted it but they have their own reasons for doing so.
This is one of the old coins that I still use today for transfer purposes because of low tx fees and you can find it even in small exchanges.
However, there are exchanges that are charging high number of doges on their withdrawal fees but still low compared to btc fees.

I'm the same as you as I mostly use Doge when it comes to exchanges as the fees are a lot cheaper but like you I have also seen some exchanges charge a fair bit for Doge. I know one exchange that charges 25 Doge for withdrawals but its still cheaper then BTC fees.

In part I was a bit surprised by that de-listing being how much the community was gunning for binance to get dogecoin listed in the first place. Albeit on the other hand I dont' care too much for ETH, its tokens or having trading pairs with it, since it creates a secondary hurdle and more fees to convert from altcoins back to BTC, so I think in the long run this is better for Doge to be decoupled from any centralized networks like ETH.

Furthermore, as much as I love Doge, and every spawn of bitcoin that's kept close to the tradition of satoshi's principles. I have to say from a trading perspective, that I think it's hard pressed to say that any inflationary crypto has much chance for a higher value as it's supply keeps increasing. Only way that could be offset is with an increased demand.  That is just not apparent at this time.

Owner at AltQuick.com
FreeBitcoins.com has updated our faucet a little bit.  We now only give faucet hits directly to our XChange users accounts.

You can earn 2.5 DOGE per hour.  We do have limits every 24 hours at the moment, but those should be upped shortly.

Enjoy!

Hell, that is a pity news from binance, but for me who prefers btc pair than others, it's not a big deal I think, even then we can see the another pair will be more strong in binance, yeah especially btc, so we always can meet doge in there.
