It seems altseason is about to come very soon than it will this coin more interesting. Big players are just accumulating this is good chance to take entry at this point. Doge is still looking promising current volume is really amazing this is big sign how community love this.

We don't know when the altcoins season will start but we should always accumulate whenever we have some funds. Most of the people will afraid to buy when the coins going to decrease their prices, Doge is looking very promising in the market so it is the right time to grab as many coins as possible.

when will it happen? many say the altcoin season is coming out again, but until now I haven't seen the signs. is the price reduction a sign of the altcoin season?

and in my opinion without the altcoin season, Doge is good enough. maybe those who see doge as an investment don't like my opinion. but come on, without the altcoin season, doge already has a lot of demand. and I think doge is one of the coins that is quite actively used, even though it's only for tips. and doge has a pretty massive real use case.

DOGE coin always does a good run in the altcoin seasons and I remember when it was sitting at one point at around 80 or 90 cents a pop. We are collecting dogecoins from faucets and ptc sites and we withdraw every hundred doge coins from faucet hut. It all ads up because when the alt season comes and we nend up with over a thousand of these little monsters and it ever reaches a dollar, it would be worth a good little amount of money. DOGE coin has been one of those meme coins that never went out of fashion and is here to stay I think. I like DOGE as it is easily collectible through the faucet sites.
Yeah it is good to collect dogecoins from everywhere as we all know that now again the price started to rise. It is just the start and in the coming year we will see a biggest altseason. But there is one point in my mind is not take take longer to collect dogecoins from faucets? I have that point in my mind that is why I am doing other works and trying to buy with the earnings of that money. If we will buy with our money then we will collect a larger amount of dogecoins. I am suggesting it because the altcoin season is not much away from the current time.

Hello Doge community,

About 6 months ago I messed up on a transaction sending a fair amount of Doge to a DGB address. I was shuffling some coins from wallets to exchanges and the remote computer that had the wallet got the address from a previous copy paste of DGB. At the time I reached out to the exchange but after a couple weeks they said they were unable to help. I looked up the transaction on bitinfocharts. It still shows received on the doge network but of coarse is still stuck there (until the day someone gets that address) Just wondering if there is anyway possible to get that recovered? When I first asked this question here in April it seems to have been ignored and a dead end. Other people on the web had posted about this and got it recovered. Just curious how or if the exchange that had the DGB address can't help.

Thanks

The only chance of recovery of those coins is finding the owner of the Doge address you sent your coins to, and hopefully they'll remit the coins back to you. much luck !
Of course it will be very done, but it is not wrong to try it, and only lucky people will get it back, if I'm in your position I will try it to explore why you should go back, have a good day for you friend

I certainly believe in Dogecoin's future, I firmly believe Dogecoin will remain to exist as long as Bitcoin exist. No matter what will happen with other altcoins, Dogecoin will survive because we are using it, and I am using it, more than Bitcoin for doing the transactions.
as long as the team keeps active updating the blockchain, I am fine with them being inactive here.

Plenty of people use Dogecoin in exchanges by converting to it rather than use Bitcoin and other crypto to withdraw or trade as it has less tx fees.

Sure, if they the team are inactive here or post occasionally but they update the official Doge website and blockchain regularly then that really is enough. Like you I also believe in the longevity that Doge will have.

I guess I am with you with this perspective. Even if they are not really active here in the forum but if they are updating their site and blockchain from time to time, then that would be more than enough to sustain the doge network. I for one, is a long-time user also of doge. As usual, I use it for transfer purposes from one exchange to another because if you convert the tx fee to btc, it is relatively low as compared to others. Aside from the fact that you can find doge to almost all medium to big exchanges. But of course would be happy if the remaining developers will post here to let know that they are still here for this old coin.

Yes, community needs updates and developments from the coin and it will help the coin to sustain long term. Yes, many people are doing bulk transaction with the Dogecoin because of the transaction fee and some exchanges are charging high transaction for fund transfers.

Thank you for the post and the GitHub link.

Stands to reason team members would be moving around on a project that was started at the end of 2013 which makes it nearly 6 years old.

Even though Doge started out as a joke it really impacted crypto-world a lot. I hope Doge has a bright future ahead of it.

This was the last message posted from the OP.

Who is running things for Doge now?

Based on the news I heard back then there were 2 developers creating this project but one of them left the project afterward leaving one core developer.
but it seems like someone new joined the team because we can see 2 peoples active in updating the source even though they made the last update 4 months ago.

and the OP might be the one who left the project because from 3 developers on GitHub page, this guy: https://github.com/patricklodder last activity was in 2018.

@dungp3132 no sir not part of dev team, just informing the community Tongue much wow Smiley

Thanks, it was rather late when the update went out last night and basically went to bed, then work, and now I'm here Smiley

I'm _hoping_ we'll ship a beta soon, we've got some outstanding build issues with the OS X version that are blocking a beta release, but otherwise it's looking fairly good so far!

Four days passed fastly and Dogecoin has not risen as expected, but I don't worry with my investment in Dogecoin. Price below 30 satoshis is very good to invest, both short and long term. Dogecoin habitually performs very intensively. When it start rising, it usually rockets to the Moon. I will hold my Dogecoin and won't sell them below 40 satoshis till the end of this year. To be honest, I am greedy a little bit, and will keep a minor proportion of my Dogecoin and set sell orders around 80 satoshis. At least, I know I will not get losses with Dogecoin, with my entry price points and at entry price of Bitcoin.
