whats the 2nd,3rd best exchange to buy DOGE? Mostly used is Cryptsy but I hear it got way too much problems and delays...and I want to buy DOGE before the halving.

Try this one. It seems best for DOGE at my view point.
 https://bter.com...........

Dont! Im waiting 3 hours now on a deposite of Doge. 193 confirmations in my wallet.

Darn, why do all exchanges seems to struggle so much with Doge deposits???
Hope it's gonne be better on mcxnow, DOGE should get listed there anyday now Smiley

Yeah, the BTER; back in the beginning when I bought my first 0.35 btc lol on that Second Life site, I moved my BTC to BTER once, and I had to be extremely nasty on email to get it.
Not a pleasant experience, indeed.

First goal would be 1 cent, i think that if that is possible (short term) 10 cents is within reach, i literally have NO idea where it will be in like 6 months, and i also have NO idea how to actually cash out when the moment is there Tongue i keep delaying my research, "no need to cash out yet i tell myself" as the value grows and grows...

BTER Doge 281?!
Cryptsy Doge 228...

hmmm

look at the reports of people who have lost lots of coins at bter.com lots of bad stories, also with cryptsy there are a lot of issues.  I am also having issues at bter.com  lots of missing coins.  If this gets resolved I will post a correction.

Shocked , mind to share your problem at bter.com. I am currently using bter too.

I traded some coins for btc and when I withdrew my btc it never showed up on the other end.  blockchain.info says no such transaction exists.  If you search the forums there a ton of people who have lost lots of coins there and without any resolution.  Unfortunately I searched bitcointalk after my troubles.  I hope this is a minor mishap and things will get fixed.  I will update if this gets resolved, can anyone recommend an exchange that has some kind of reliable support.  Right now I'm just pulling my hair out, it's kind of stressful and I wished I never deposited or traded there.  Not worth the hassle to get more coins.  Actually everything worked fine for me for a month then lots of problems.

Any doge millionares around here? Any educated thoughts on how it'll go further?

Yup over here 5+ milion bought around 27 satoshi haven't touched my coins since then! Thoughts no idea, very very new to this stuff

Well done, sir! That's x10 now. Roughly.
And the 25 mil guy, also very pretty cool yeah.

I see someone bought in at up to massive 860. I'll tell you something funny, guys, but take it as a story only, it's truth, so no teasing around.
At the time I actually was in (with some like 1.5 mil for day trading experiment) someone bought up to 90 then at price being only 55. I saw that in real time on cryptsy.
Well, you know what happened next now Cheesy So, I dunno, it almost makes myself convinced to go buy some lol. It turned out later that all those mysterious buys way over current price were all some kind of omen lol.
Really exciting, even from aside. Cool. Well, good luck lads.

I've sold over 25 million since I started mining it at the end of January, does that count? Smiley

how many do you have left? I think that defines whether you're a doge millionaire now. Or maybe billionaire...

Well, I gotta be honest, I was here at the time doge arrived to the market; it's now third or fourth time I've underestimated this meme coin, now I'm not really sure what's going on anymore.
I did it on 80, then on 140 and then on 190 satoshi, always said - well, this madness has to have a limit. But obviously not.
Luckily (or not actually) I'm have zero doge and can look at this from aside, I can honestly say I have no clue on what's going on.
Halving itself, well, it behaves different on every coin, some go up some go down, but the fact that it's coming in soon, probably adds up to volume and price.

Kudos for huge community, for sure, and congrats on breaking 80 mil cap, really impressive.

So for effect:

IF YOU HAVEN'T CREATED A NEW DOGE DEPOSIT ADDRESS ON CRYPTSY IN THE LAST TWO DAYS, DO IT TO FIX DELAYS!

I just did that, so you think It will take 14 hours?

Dogecoin   D7aooLivV1Cdkvj6b6bFdmwrMj37d66m9C   694931.84045857 DOGE   Yes   2014-02-11 00:54:05
Status Pending

It will not help your current deposit at all, that will still possibly take up to 24 hours, however, the new address will speed up any new deposits you make. I have had no issues with new deposits to my new deposit address, but I'm still waiting on one last deposit from around 14 hours ago to my old address.

Uhhh that's how it's done everywhere, including currencies and the stock market.... I'm assuming that cryptocurrency is most people's first trading venture. I've traded stocks for 10+ years and you can apply your false logic to anything including a company like Google. Ask just about anyone in the world of finance how a valuation of something is determined and they will point at the market cap.

Given your 10+ years at trading stock, then I assume you pick a stock on more than its market cap. The point is the market cap means nothing, it can dissolve in seconds, and unless there is a basis for it such as earnings per share, or company valuation, it is just an arbitrary number that means nothing in its true value.

As mentioned, the market cap can increase millions, just by a 20BTC purchase depending on walls that are up at the time. I'll agree with you that most people are very new at trading in this realm, and those are the people that most of us make money off of. If only people could overcome greed and illusions of becoming a millionaire with their million Doge, they would be able to slowly accumulate the wealth by playing into the plans of those manipulating the coin.

Block Numbers    Per-Block Reward    First Block                               Expected Coins Produced (approx)    Expected Total Circulation (approx)
600,001+          10,000 (fixed)          27 January, 2015 (estimated)     525,600,000 per year                    No limit

Unlike some other cryptocurrencies, there is no limit to how many Dogecoins can be produced. According to the schedule, approximately 98 billion coins will have been released by January 2015, when block 600,000 is mined. Thereafter, approximately 5.2 billion more coins will be produced per year, in perpetuity. During December 2013 and January 2014, Dogecoin's developers discussed in public forums whether this should be changed.[18][51] On February 2, 2014, Dogecoin founder Jackson Palmer announced that the supply of coins would remain uncapped.

Why is the coin UNCAPPED! Could this be a problem?

Halving will cut supply!

Next halving which will cut the suplly hard? Time / Moment?

Geez this thing is so overvalued, $82,000,000 market cap on a meme coin. That's larger than 80% of all tech, mining, biotech, and e-commerce startup companies that are available on stock exchanges. This high of a market cap is usually reserved for biotechs that got FDA approval on their new drug, or mining companies that have found a precious ore, but here we have doge breaking it no problem. World's gone nuts. Whatever, my 195's look good. I'll take it.

Yes, but you need to understand the incorrect value of the way all of these coins have a market cap determined. They put the value of the current price on each and every share. That means that each share would be worth the current market price, which we all know is not the way it works.

So, to inflate the value of a crap coin, or even BTC, you need to control a good portion of the coins, and simply deal with the other coins being sold more than bought. It's quite a simple process, assuming you have the funds behind it to control it. The hard part is it requires an extreme amount of patience, as time is what makes most people believe the current market value, and once they believe, that's when profit comes for the person manipulating.

So, before looking too closely at market caps for ANY coins, ask yourself how many coins would it actually take for the value to drop significantly? That, is much more important than market cap. In fact, look at what happened to BTC on BTC-e... Dropped to 100 with a 4000 coin fat finger. Be wary of illusion, and temper greed with logic.

Yup , but also the drop was for only a few seconds and orders were back in a matter of minutes.
Will the same happen for other coins ? That is the question. Some of them might even die with such a drop.

lol bitcoin now illegal in russia...

but after 6 hours...my doge finally arrived at cryptsy...i hope the price will reach 210 again Smiley or higher...then sell...and then i hope that the price will drop xD

I hope that you sell and the price keeps on rising so you'd need to buy back even more to even out your loss, and then you decide to stick to it long term and realize you could made alot of more money if you hadn't sold out the first time

Its happening!

That market cap it's just a bunch of numbers.
If everybody would be willing to exchange their doge to usd , I doubt we will all end up with more than 10 millions.

I get what you are trying to say, but you are wrong about it just being numbers. Market cap is the defacto way to valuate currency, stock, and now cryptocurrency. Besides you can apply your logic to the above startup companies that I mentioned as well, so in the end my point still stands.

Another thing I learned from the stock market is buy fear sell cheer, buy the rumor sell the news.
