It appears that all of doge will be mined in less than 2 years from now, pretty surprising. I'm guessing the getting will be good before it halves by sometime in February.

For the long holders (like me)
1. What is your desired goal by holding the coins (saving for materialistics of any sort? building savings? what are you planning on?)
2. At what value would you drop your doges and start going fiat
3. If your goal value has been reached would you go all-in (fiat) or do you plan on keeping some in your wallets?

For now I'm just looking at paying off some debt when the coins value goes up more.

Probably won't be selling any until it's reached $0.25 and I never plan to sell all of it. Maybe 5-10% at a time then.

For me:
1. Holding them long enough to build more savings
2. If this would ever happen i would drop them around 1 euro to 1.5 euro each (1 euro is 1.37 dollar)
3. I would definately not go all-in, i would keep 5 to 10 percent in my wallet

It is OK to dream so why not do that?

Are there any epic topics on bitcoin, i remember seeing people tipping each other with like 50 BTC (when it's value was waaaaay lower ofcourse) would love to read some of those for the fun of it.

Hi!

I'm having a tough time connecting to the Dogecoin Network from my wallet.

Here are the things I have tried:
  • Multiple times adding new "nodes" and replacing conf files
  • Opened up all firewall rules (pfSense) to my IP
  • Enabled uPNP (on pfSense)
  • Changed computers
  • Reinstall QT client
  • Was sad Sad

I am even having trouble connecting to other networks as well.

Any ideas? Often times I can make connections via telnet directly to the Peer IP addresses but the client won't connect.

OS: Ubuntu 12.10 currently but have also tried on Win 7 x64.

Much thanks.

Try rebooting, it has worked for me with other clients.
