To me it seems that whoever was running the Boat Twitter account just gave up as there has been now tweets since December last year. The problem I think is that there isn't really much to tweet/update people about and that is why its now inactive. I hope we get some news from the dev soon.

Is hard to find devs now days as they start their own projects. Hope Obavi won't leave those 2 projects.

If someone can provide login information for the twitter account, I can take care of the project!
Even if there are no updates or news, the important thing is to show that the project is alive !!

Actually Boat gets spikes like this every now and then, not sure who it is pumping the price up and then it dumps back down. The dev already should have millions of Boat as I didn't see much getting used from the dev fund as they were meant to be used to get Boat on more exchanges but nothing. Not sure what to think with Boat and Rain anymore.

Strange that all devs who launches more than 1 coin than disappears. Like BOAT/RAIN, Tattoo COIN with his 3 coins launched and many other projects.

Yes true, Maybe if the current dev doesn't have time to work on the project, it wouldn't be a bad idea that a new dev team takes over. This project is almost 1 year old now and nothing has been done with it which is a shame as it has huge potential. 1 year in crypto is a long time and to see nothing being done is a little disappointing. I just hope the dev does come back and works on the project or is working on the project.

Or maybe the community can take over and make this project moving forward, as we don't have any guarantee that the dev will return.

There is something happening like in a social science way with crypto devs because many of them create the coin and disappear. Perhaps they are mostly young and feel like they have to be anonymous and avoid taxes and so on. The fact that this dev hasn't shown up for a while isn't any different than probably half the coins now actively traded. Both his coins, this and RAIN, are very robust and haven't had any problems syncing.

well vella summarized it quite well:( we dont have any news at the moment- so it is somehow risky...however i myself put some buy orders in this current low regions becuase i hope dev is publishing some great news with the next bull run of crpyto and uses this to raise the coin..but this is only my hope/speculation^^

Thank you mate! That is right, Boat is just a speculation coin right now as no one knows whats going on except for the dev himself who has been MIA for the past couple of months. That is why right now Boat is a big risk in my opinion however at the same time like hammerhart said if the dev does come here with some news before the next bull run we could see Boat go up in a short period of time but again this is a risk because we don't know if the dev will ever come back.

Indeed you can make 4x your money with Boat but you can make 4x of something like 0.1-0.2 BTC as I don't see to much liquidity into this to make 4X of 5-10 BTC for exaple.
