It may be we are still 2 to 5 years away from when the general public adopts cryptocurrency and boat businesses/owners will want a coin called BOAT.
On the first part I have to agree with you, adoption is slow because people are not educated and many states and financial institutions make things hard for us. As for the second part "the boat businesses/owners to want a coin BOAT" maybe they will launch their own or just use Bitcoin, why do you need the crypto you use to pay to be called BOAT. Not spreading fud, just is not relevant, at least for me.

It's funny that BOAT has the low staking percent of the two, yet has the lower price. Goes to show people like coins with moderately high POS %.
tend to have better node # count
[so high POS % theory =TRUE]
I think main driver is greed.
And the market pricing is always downward for high POS % projects.
this little BOAT can float at a stable rate, this will show on the next BTC up swing.
I myself prefer the lower PoS % just as long as there is a dev working on developments which isn't happening here. I still stake Boat and holding out hope but as the months go by I'm slowly starting to lose hope. I just wish a dev would come along and takeover the project as its already on 2 decent exchanges in Coinexchange and TradSatoshi and the blockchain is running perfectly so there is something to work with if a dev comes along. Maybe the next bull run will see Boat start to go up but for now I think it will stay at this price range with a few upward and downward swings along the way.

Hello, There is still no news about the dev and we have been unable to get any new dev to take over Boat which is a shame as it is a good project. The only discord out there is the one created by a community member which there isn't much going on in there just like on here. I have reached out to several different devs that I know and there have been no takers so far. A lot comes down to funds for the new dev team to try and do something with the project which Boat does not have as the dev premine is most likely all gone now and I'm not sure even if it hasn't been spent he would give it up to the new dev. Maybe the only way for this to work for Boat is for the new dev to fork the coin if one comes along.
