Is there any good up to date site/service making a comparison between Dune bakers to help user choosing who to delegate their $DUN tokens to?

Hi HopenotLate,

I'm not aware of any impartial guide/review of bakers as of yet, it would be great to see one soon!

Although we can't recommend any one particular baker as they are, of course, third-party services, you can check out the list of those that have registered their offering at; https://dunscan.io/delegation-services

Great question PopopopFR Smiley

The event is pretty low-key this time around being the first time for this. The materials are all new, of course, and so this is essentially the test-run. The attendees are of various backgrounds and generally in one of four skill groups; Highly skilled, skilled, medium and beginner, to make it as inclusive as possible!

With respect to use-cases, the first dAPP for Dune, Notarize, will be hitting beta very shortly I believe! It already links well with Metal, our meta-mask like extension Smiley

How many developers attended to this event? And what kind of audience it is ; existing startups willing to explore DUNE, independent developers, students, ...?

So far, the only one I know about is Sky.io exchange, but there is not much volumes.

So far, since the Network is really new, token value is only driven by speculation cause there is not use case yet. So no reason to buy some for now, they will be useless  Smiley But as the dApp will be developped I am sure that the token will begin to be used. Let them a few months to show us what they have planned to deliver!

Many thanks for putting "Blue_hipp031's" comments into perspective, TimeTeller (and others).

To add a couple of points; firstly, any legitimate cause for concern at Dune Network has been swiftly investigated, reported and resolved, as you would be able to find out quite easily by reading our latest "This week on Dune" update.

https://medium.com/dune-network/this-week-on-dune-a88b89e9a674

Secondly, it seems very strange to me at least, given your supposed good intentions, that you would choose to create an account to post on this thread using an almost identical screen name to the one used by our community manager on Reddit.

Assuming your intentions are good, (and the screen name thing is just an odd coincidence, not a strange tactic to confuse people), please come join our Discord or Telegram. We're 100% confident that if you, or anyone else, take the time to talk with the team, then you'll see nothing other than good intentions and building toward a long-term future for Dune.

How much is Fabien and Dune paying you to say these things???
I have nothing to benefit from exposing the facts, but history shows that this team pays people to hype their projects just to dump and exit scam!! I think you are doing that with others on this thread.

Everyone can read for themselves; if you search for Genevieve Coin you can see the pump n dump they did and now trying again with Dune
Look, even the logo for Genevieve coin is same as OcryptoUnion!
https://coinlib.io/coin/GXE/Genevi%C3%A8ve

Look it went from $0.54 to $0.0005 and the team made a lot of money selling high when people were buying and now even the website for Genevieve  was shutdown

If you even look also on OcryptoUnion twitter page you can see them promoting Dune Network now too which is crazy since OcryptoUnion was rebranded Genevieve coin!
https://twitter.com/OCryptoUnion/with_replies

Please, believe me when i tell you this is a really big scam. I have no reason to tell you so, no benefit at all. I say this only because of history of this team and how they fooled people before. If you don't believe then do yur research yourself. I am only sharing what i know...

You have things pointed out here that make users search for the authenticity of the project.
And thank you for that.  Without those points, people will not be curious about this project.
I don't think people are so dumb nowadays that they will just to send money without any digging.
Let us see how their developments will turn out here.

Actually no offense but I don't trust you when you say you have no benefits to fill this thread Wink You'll probably never admit it but anyway this is not the subject... Crypto world...  Tongue

As I said, nobody is telling anyone to buy DUNE. Just spend some time to build an own opinion on the project. They are working hard building the DUNE framework for developers to be able to make dapps.

Okay now that you vomited all your hate, can you be more constructive?  Smiley

Have you read their medium posts? Have you gone through their discord channel to speak with their team members?

I invite people to go deeper into the DUNE's ecosystem and talk with their team. Then I'm sure everybody is intelligent enough to have an opinion  Wink Nothing to loose except time. Nobody is saying "GO Go Go buy as much DUNE as possible to make it pump!"... Seriously...  Huh

Happy reading for curious people  Wink

WARNING WARNING WARNING

Please be advised that the above mentioned "Dune" project is a SCAM - DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!

You can get acquainted with more details behind this here:
https://medium.com/@poundofcheese/dune-fork-hate-fork-or-pump-n-dump-bd483785590a

You can also see that as recently as last week they were found to be dumping their coins even though they had contracts that forbade them from doing that. It turns out that their CEO Fabien Dureuil was selling millions of tokens off on community members and using them to pay off other scams he had from dealing with a shady exchange called ZADDEX. Please do not believe their lies, they will scam you out of your money!

The scam is well publicized here in a big news outlet of France:
https://www.capital.fr/entreprises-marches/la-gestion-trouble-de-dune-la-cryptomonnaie-soutenue-par-xavier-niel-1356145

You can also see that their latest project "The Garage" is the brainchild of Oussama Ammar, who was investigated by the FBI and found to be doing some scams:
https://www.lexpress.fr/actualite/societe/enquete/la-face-cachee-d-un-gourou-de-la-tech_2016774.html

here is a quote from the article:
"The FBI investigators are very interested in Hussein and his alleged links with the Republic of the Mollahs." - Republic of the Mollahs is relating to funding of terrorism activities.

This is the same team that was behind Genevieve Coin, which was a pump and dump scam that lost 99% value. Also they then relaunched the scam under a different brand called OcryptoUnion, which has also seen a massive drop in value. They are now planning to do this same with Dune and want to hype it just to dump it on community members.

They will act like they are truthful and honest but their history shows their truth; do not believe their words, they are only looking for scam exit pump+dump.

Yep I agree  Smiley The team behind seems really serious and some come from very high level schools and computer laboratories. By the way their "The Garage" blockchain incubator is another proof that they could give DUNE a very promising future  Wink Let's them a chance to show us what they are capable of!
