Some people don't seem to understand one thing: If nobody is interested in buying a coin, the coin will disappear from the market, including the whole foundation, projects, team, supporters and whatever else is/was standing for it. You can turn it around as you like, it's simply a fact. What will be left are some miners that mine for fun.

My main investment in EAC is done, saved on a usb stick and stored in a save place. I will keep it until there is good news or a big R.I.P. message. A certain ammount saved in another wallet to trade and see how things go on. And YES, i want to earn some profit one day. Sorry for that. I know everyone else only wants to use the coins to make the earth more green.

And i'm sorry to say that i will dump some coins in the right moment when it comes to the 2X & 5X rewards. Because i'm pretty sure that prices will always fall. Not because i'm greedy, but i don't accept that some greedy miners should be the only ones that can make fast money.

Now you guys can think about me what you want. Finally i know that i have already helped some people and projects with donations. And YES, i still have trust in this coin, otherwise i would be out of here faster than anyone could imagine.

We will see. I hope this will all go in a healthy way for all of us.

Generally, alts all go down when BTC skyrockets. In a steady climb, alts climb with it.
That said, if BTC almost doubles in a week, I'd think EAC would either go down a little bit or hold steady. I doubt it would climb vs. BTC.

Might keep it from losing significant more value. I don't think we are close to the bottom yet.

what do you guys expect for EAC if BTC goes to 1500 next week?

i did both. i mined and invested. but in my pov to this point it is not enough just to mine it, cause we need more investments. more money from people who do trust in this concept. i just agreed to mordillo. i dont care who deserves what, i just think for a better development we need rather investors than more hashpwr

@SteveoMB - I fail to understand what this comment is getting at.  To begin, before any product has any value placed upon it, it has to be created/produced.  It doesn't matter if it's food, furniture, or cryptocurrency, it has to start with people who are willing to gather/create a good.  This is where the miners come in, as farmers of Earthcoin, are you arguing that they don't deserve to see some type of profit off of the good they produce?  Without it, you wouldn't have had anything to invest hundreds of dollars in.

@ Mordillo - The future of a cryptocurrency will be as good as the developers and community surrounding it.  Without both in place, I wouldn't expect any specific coin to succeed.  You say that people will read about the coin before they invest, I think I speak for the majority in saying that's what we're hoping for.  The devs are going out of their way to be transparent, and the community is showing strong support and believing in the integrity of the devs that we carry on our backs.  The only respectable criticism I've seen in this entire 200+ page thread is about the premine, and to be honest, it comes off as people who can't get past the fact that the developers might stand to make some money off of the product that they're so tirelessly pouring effort into (heaven forbid! /s).  There are always going to be people who are looking to turn a quick profit (i.e. investors), but is that not the nature of investing?  Is that not what you were attempting to do before losing 60% of your input?

I believe in our devs, because they give us good reason to believe, as anyone who has seen the coin develop from the beginning can agree with.  If this is a get-rich-quick scheme for our crypto overlords, to hell with them for destroying something that actually had potential and missing a chance to be something greater.  But I have strong reason to believe otherwise, and as long as they keep fighting for our trust and support, they'll have it.

i also invested hundreds of dollars and dont like all the miners who claim to have the right to win... this project needs time. time for building up a healthy foundation with a cause and a good community... lets see what happens..

Yeah I'd say it would work better to switch getearthcoin.com to be the official domain and set the biz up as an alias.

I've been wondering why the official is a .biz. Seems kind of odd.

I feel your pain my friend, don't forget that this coin is 2 weeks old!
If you thought by investing some money into Crypto Currency that you would see never ending increases in your investment then really this is not the game for you I'm afraid.
There are no guarantees of course but your complaint seems to be that the last few days have seen the EAC price diminish somewhat , that is inevitable until the coin hits cryptsy/coinwarz as the only people who are selling right now are either brainless,spineless or are deliberately trying so massage down the price for their own reasons.
There are various things in the pipeline that should help to raise the profile of EAC and with that I would imagine we will see an increase in demand on the exchanges.
Rest assured as a non miner you would be best off stashing your coins in a safe place and checking back onece a week to see how things are progressing.
Also any services or fantastic ideas you can provide for EAC would do nothing but help your chances of seeing an increase in your investment.

Although a couple of forummembers are done with the "voting-thing", I still think it might be a good idea to do some voting for the the chinese exchange; http://www.guogao.com . This is a new chinese exchange, momentarily trading in 5 coins (to my surprise also LOT). Today our chinese version of the site was fixed, and we have to start somewhere in China, I guess. When they add EAC, at least there is a place where people can buy EAC with FIAT ( yuan). For people who like to vote for EAC, we are at the bottom left side.

There may be others in the future so just know that we will never be selling our coins or offering sales/discounts/anything through any platform - if you see anyone trying to represent the eac team and selling coins = it's a redflag for a scam ahead. The @earthcoin account seems gone now.

both earthcoin.biz and getearthcoin.com are internal, the .biz is actually the official site, the .com is just forwarded because I came in late and didn't like the .biz extension so grabbbed the getearthcoin.com domain for branding..

HOLD UP!! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Earthcoin.biz site is the same guy who scammed a bunch of people including me with the fake @Earthcoins twitter account!!

Until this is verified/disproven DO NOT send any funds there!

I am unhappy from the current price too but we need just to be patient. Crapcoins must die off first and then will come a time for the coins with longer time of use than 1 pump and 1 dump based on meme/actor name or just being mentioned as a crap.
