is this the one released yesterday ?

nope, ccminer release versions don't do quark yet.

EDIT:  after some tuning it looks like this. This is why it's a development version, I guess.
That's > 8 MHash/s per GTX 780Ti.

Code:
[2014-04-18 13:51:05] 3 miner threads started, using 'quark' algorithm.
[2014-04-18 13:52:56] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 24499 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-04-18 13:58:50] accepted: 2/2 (100.00%), 24517 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-04-18 13:58:50] accepted: 3/3 (100.00%), 24600 khash/s (yay!!!)

3x GTX 780Ti with development version of ccminer

Getting 5000 ETR per mined block. nice.

Reminds me of an easter egg hunt, except that I am finding 5000 at a time Wink

is this the one released yesterday ?
Anyhow it is doing better than the R9 290x, getting 3.7MHash/s
my poor i7 3770 in comparison 106khash/s for 4 threads

3x GTX 780Ti That's Nvidia, did not know they were good for this stuff.

BTW, I am not sure why some blocks are a little light, I don't think it happens often, someone else mentioned it happened to them too.

Yeah I was feeling good when I found a 1 ETR. It is all for fun.

How do you monitor the hashrate from the wallet ? I see the net hashrate, but not the miner hashrate

Running 3 cores on an I5 will get you around 400khs (get 360 on mine but it is 3 years old, they must be faster by now)

Also good to leave one core free.

The advantage of using a GPU over a CPU for Quark is the lowest of all algorithms. If you have a good processor such as a sandybridge, you will do really well with EasterCoin.

good point, what is the hahsrate for cpu ?

"CPU Algorithm allows you to still mine your favourite valuable GPU coins over Easter because this is mostly a CPU coin"

Nothing wrong with that comment, never said CPU only.

There are no CPU only coin peoples allways will find way to make GPU miner cause they can earn more with it.
sure... but it is kind of misleading to say it is cpu only when the gpu miner already exists.

The first 300 block is 1 ETR then 5000 till 4620 block.

True, block 301 onwards through Easter have the 5k rewards.

Finally got it synced

Yes but Quark is the closet CPU coin there is from my understanding.

The thing is, if you have a GPU why would you mine this when there are more profitable coins to mine with the GPU?

This is just a fun coin (although convertable) for Easter for people to CPU mine on the side while their GPU rigs are doing something else. I don't have a problem thou of people using their GPU's, I just think it doesn't make much sense for them to.
