As I checked again on this thread, this was first posted May 2017 and that was 7 months ago but until now the Whitepaper is still missing, why is that? Is this an ongoing project from May up to now?

i think the dev wrote the wrong conf at op.
the conf file name should be ego.conf rather then egl.con
and in order to connect, you need to add rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
