Wallet not working for me

Did all of the above, also NAT port 50124 (which seems to be used, using debug log in wallet) and added the wallet to the firewall.
ps. never had to do this for all the other wallets.

Any other ideas?

Try that :

Close the wallet
Delete everything in the folder \username\appdata\roaming\emucoin   except wallet.dat and emucoin.conf
reopen wallet and wait 5mn

I created a little tutorial for the emucoiners having wallet sync issues. I hope this helps some of you guys.

EmuCoin is still in beta and may not sync for some users. If so, you will need add your own nodes until the next version of EmuWallet is released.

Here is a brief tutorial on how to do so. Make sure you enable hidden folders in windows and show hidden file extensions as well.

Step #1. You will need to add a conf file to your appdata folder. To do that you need to go to the \username\appdata\roaming\emucoin folder on your computer.

Step #2. In that folder create a new text document and rename it to "emucoin.conf".

Step #3. Right click emucoin.conf and add the following nodes to the document:

addnode=192.95.12.115
addnode=62.4.17.16
addnode=67.235.206.14
addnode=46.188.32.65
addnode=117.15.131.103
addnode=49.75.70.204
addnode=31.18.159.118
addnode=182.34.19.67
addnode=202.203.9.69
addnode=80.111.239.80
addnode=106.83.174.87
addnode=115.210.71.245
addnode=85.170.111.146

Step #4. Save the file and restart your EmuCoin wallet client. Wait a few minutes and it should begin to sync.

If all that worked for you, don't be shy to use your new wallet functionality to tip me some EMU! EReo9GT4vGzrZto2U2hxuBSazj1sCayKXj

My wallet isn't syncing and i have add the nodes. Anything else i can do?

try the big pools aka:

addnode=emu.poolerino.com  will solve it

Mike, any idea, why I still see at poolerino much lower speeds at "workers" than at vertminers?
I have in total around 5 mhs at nscrypt (10 scrypt) but in poolerino dashboard and in workers settings as well I only see like 60% of I should get.. that means around 3 mhs.. never spotted higher rate there and checked it like 5x since yesterday...
any idea? Is your pool counting correctly?
Balance also is not as high as should be with 5 mhs.. so seems to me only around those 3 mhs are hitting your pool..
in vertminers seems everything OK.. almost no rejects or HW errors...

With Vertminer or scrypt-n you get around 50% of normal scrypt hash, thats normal.

I think he means that his rigs say he is mining at 5 MH, but the pool reports much less. I have the same issue. I know pool stats are not always so accurate, but at Poolerino the number seems MUCH further away from the truth than usual. I have 2.8MH, but the pool always reports around 2.1MH

Ok got you now. That depends on the configuration of the pool. We only show VALID sended shares, not the shares your vertminer shows.
Plus: In the Pool dashboard, we only show the middle of all valid send share of the last 3 minutes, so its not realtime.

This is quite normal, but if you want I can print our your valid shares we got in our database and you can compare with your vertminer logs.
Pls contact me via mail : [email protected], Ill send you the valid shares and blocklist.

Greetings, Mike

Thanks for the explanation. It's not that i don't believe you, i just wasn't sure how things worked on your end. I've used Poolerino for at least 3 other coins in the past and had no issues.

A question though, if i have say 1% stale and 1% rejects other the course of the past few minutes (just an example), doesn't that mean that i should see around 98% of my hashrate in the dashboard summary, or is it calculated somehow differently based on difficulty and other variables? I thought every share sent would be valid, or returned as a reject/stale? Just trying to understand a little better.

Cheers.
