I have been waiting for them to get ROKOS in order for Energy but I also had not time frame for them to get it done so I decided that I might want to try on my own.

I got a message from the Rokos-team:

Quote
Hi Jan,

I am happy as well, I expect great things with ROKOS and every included currency.

...
ROKOS flavors is planned for release between Jan 28 /Feb 14th so hopefully you can have it ready by then,
even so we can help provide the src update if you update after the release, and will get updated on
the coming release after 4-5 new coin claims as well as it is a permanent part of ROKOS flavors system.

..
Best Regards
~OKtoshi

So I hope we have the fork ready before Feb 14th and it is included then bij the first launch.

Tomorro we get a message if we are 1 of the 5 finalists for the contest with EnergyCoin in The Netherlands.
If not we continue working on the ecosystem in baby steps and being on Rokos is one of them.
See picture below for a smal part of our Prove of Concept

In this framefork we go use ENRG-tokens and how that works I post later.

Anyone have a list of dependencies I might need to install for the v1.3 version of the client on Raspberry pi 2? Im sure I can flesh this out on my own, but I would help if someone had that info as I can not find it on the boards.
Why compiling an old version?
In about two weeks we have fork v 1.5 and are we on the RPI Rokos platform.

Coins at exchanges or online wallets are at risks.

My small alt coin online wallet "cryptsy" was just wiped out Sad now take all on local lvl.

Hi,

I felt very sad about cryptsy Sad. Actually there are some wallets open for withdrawals...hope you can reach your coins...

About the webwalletservice of staisybit:

Everything is solvable...also to have ur own privatekey on webservices...but this depends often on the moneypower of a service.

We are a very young service and are on the way to get our place in cryptoworld. In fact, we are very close for new features again very soon.

But u do it wise, only take the coins for a service you are willing to risk. Is the golden rule in all investments and buyopportunities in the world!

Might want to be careful with StaisyBit, I have not been able to withdraw from it in over a month. Keep getting an nonsensical error about how I have a pending withdraw, but if I do, its been pending for 45 days. I sent a ticket but as far as I can tell, I have no response. This might just be a problem with my account there and it might clear up but everyone needs to be on guard for possible scams from sites that hold your coins and the private keys. You have no power over what you deposit.

Dont ride the history! We were in betaperiod and announced it, that you cannot withdraw because important developments! Since 2 months, everything is running smooth and its confirmed by a lot of devs!

Oh, don't get me wrong, Im not making accusations but if withdraws are not available then Im just making sure that people know that what they deposit might be unavailable or at risk. As a matter of course, I do not generally trust anyone to keep my coins. I did put some coins into staisyBit to give it a try.

Fact remains that if we do not have access to private keys, we are in some way vulnerable to losing what we put in. That fact needs to be reiterated often so people do not forget.

Hey Harcon,

I am very glad, that we can communicate each other. But I fear, we are wrong here :-D

Its of course a decision, everyone has to make. There are pro and cons. But i would appreciate your discussion with me on staisybit-thread. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/launched-staisybit-universal-online-staking-wallet-1091402
