Mining this Smiley Where can i find future plans/goals?

Thanks for your question.  In the short term we would like to get this coin to an exchange.  That way those holders that would rather have BTC or fiat instead of saving up for the afterlife may cash out at anytime.   Grin

Seriously, our plans do involve an exchange as one of the first steps in order to gain exposure and the ability to be listed on coinmarketcap.com (which equals more exposure).  At that time we will be working extensively to gain merchants that are willing to accept ETC.

FYI....With block halving occurring every 6000 blocks we are over halfway to 5000 ETC block rewards.  If the average block time stays around one minute we will be halving about every 4 days.

Not to mention there's already over 3 million coins in circulation in less than 24 hours.

This coin is likely to have tremendous problems very soon.

Another clone of Litecoin, using the Litecoin diff algo - which means max diff adjustment of 400% upwards, and uses expected versus actual block height to determine next difficulty

As of this post, we are at block 2601 right now.  With 1-minute block times, we shouldn't be hitting block 2601 until 43.5 hours after the coin launch.  We are over 10x ahead of schedule right now in terms of block height.

This means at the next diff adjustment, regardless of the current network hashrate, it will go up the max 400% of current diff, which would be 4.0, even though the net hashrate demands roughly 2.8 for the next diff.

Depending on how far ahead of schedule we are after that diff adjustment, it may go up even higher - even as the net hashrate continues to drop.  Within a day or two, network block times will be measured in hours, not minutes.

It doesn't appear this is happening.  We just passed the block 3240 adjustment and the difficulty went from 1.9 to 1.6.  We are still ahead of schedule as you pointed out but the adjustment should only be based on the previous 360 blocks.  I'm not sure what went wrong at launch but it seems to be adjusting fine now.

Is there anything new in this coin for the world, community and technology?

Nope.  Nothing new here except the chance to own the only unofficial coin of the afterlife.  Wink

Just to reiterate for those that have not read the entire thread.

anything scrypt based at this point is worthless.

Untrue.  Look at this fine coin. Such ingenuity. Of course it's the icon I refer to as only it is new

Now I found a block and it didn't go into my wallet. IDK what's up with this coin but I smell something fishy.   Roll Eyes

There are still alot of orphans because the diff is not high enough for the current network hashrate.  Normally, orphans would show up in your transaction history with a question mark next to them (generated but not accepted) but for some reason the ETC wallet doesn't display them at all, or they will show up for a second or two and then disappear.

You are correct. After I posted that I thought to myself "it could have been an orphan", but I am used to seeing it still show up in the wallet.

But, I ran listtransactions and sure enough it was an orphan. Damn buggy wallet. Smiley
