Any news from the op?
You are more than a month late with the exchange and the levarage option won´t even be implemented in the beginning.

So you should update your stakeholders at least!
OP is long gone...  MCR hasn't been around since the shares sale ended...coincidence maybe?

i see MRC in bahamas Cheesy

Lol... I'm one of the share holders of this exchange.... doesn't know a damn thing about what's happening to the exchange and dev team doesn't have the decency to keep share holders up to date... According to what's happned until now, I'm 70% sure this is a scam...

I wonder if we will ever get an update with a new target release date.
Now that the exchange has been in beta for a few weeks maybe they have a better picture where they are and what is left.

having tried a bit the beta, I found it looked pretty nice (even though they are some bugs, which is in any case difficult to avoid, that's the purpose of the beta... better late than crappy...)

So, alcurEX is now in Beta for a few days.
What are the impressions, how is the testing going ?
Any update?
Bugs are informed to the coders and they are updating server.

ETA for release? Sorry if I missed it.

You didn't miss it.
There was no new date announced after they missed the April 1st date.

@everyone

hi guys, sorry about the indian remark, i realised now how it sounds when someone reads it.

It was coming only because i read either in this thread, or the mrc thread, or the alcurex.info site
a comment made by halibit, where he was referring to the coders as an "indian company".
I was under the impression that the coders are based in india, nothing more.

I did not intend to offend anyone, i am sorry if i have done so.
English is not my primary language, so sometimes i phrase things wrong.

EDIT: added link to the comment

You are right about the lack of info on cs. Thats all.
How can you know or why do you associate that the indian (!) programmers team cant deliver good code?
In my eyes that looks like racism.

Have you ever worked with them (indians) or with code delivered by them?

I do. Everyday.
I am an IT project manager for large clients and all our code is written in India.
There are great professionals there who get it done right and on time.

You can get crappy code or programmers in USA, Germany or Japan. Depends on the company and the people you have selected to work with.
Racial discrimination cannot be an excuse.

The same here. I´m working with them and their code on a daily basis. What I see is that they are not thinking about what they are doing, just coding, like writing am email. We have several partners in india with different daily rates, they all lack of precision. Sometimes we get really good people to work with us, but the waste majority is worth exactly what they get, not a cent more.

One time we got code that wasn´t even compiling because of typeos. And this has been already reviewed by one of the indian managers over there.

You are correct. In 90% of the cases and especially when you work directly with developers they will execute a request 1:1 and will not think "outside the box" or anything. They would not spot an issue until you point it out, or be proactive in any other way.
I am lucky that now i have a good team lead who is very proactive and saves me a lot of time in error checking and writing documentation and etc.
Either way blaming it on the coders is no excuse, the "front mane" is the one responsible for the project.

Enough off-topic, the beta of the exchange looks really good! I hope it does not stay in beta for a long time.

There are still lots of problem in the website. Maybe another month to fix it. Leverage is not yet available as well.
