You will see that it is not tradable and all balances are at 0. This is normal for the moment:
- We are starting to distribute tokens to ICO contributors who are KYC verified.

Three weeks ago we listed Bitcoin Cash as announced during the ICO. Today we listed our first ERC20 token : the BAT which you elected through the survey at the end of last month. That’s the first ERC20 token that you’ll be able to trade on the platform.

A number of you have been asking questions on social networks about the project and I’d like to answer those questions and we’ll do so on a monthly basis from now on.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m also the founder of Paymium.com. The same team that is building Blockchain.io has built Paymium.com. This is the first Bitcoin exchange in the world starting in 2011. So we have a lot of very experienced and knowledgeable people focused on security and optimal implementation of blockchain’s applications.


That being said, I want to thank you for your patience regarding the release of the BCIO Token. It was planned two weeks ago and now I am happy to say that in the next four weeks, we will be able to release the Token. Again, thanks for your patience.


In the meantime, we launched publicly Blockchain.io platform in mid-January, so it was less than 2 months ago. We want to make sure that the product is optimal and very secure and that’s why we are taking a few more weeks to test it, in fact, to make sure that the product is optimal.


Regarding the roadmap, what’s gonna happen over the next 4 weeks is the release of the first ERC20 token listing at the end of the month. BCIO Token holders will be asked to answer a questionnaire to vote for the tokens they want to be listed on the platform (start voting now). After that, we will introduce the KYC feature and the release of the BCIO Token for trading on the platform. We are also working in parallel on the API to facilitate the integration of the automated traded tool that some of you are using for trading. Not all our customers are using our trading interface, some of you use so-called "bots" and automated trading tools. For that, we are enhancing the API of the platform to make it easier to integrate the automated tools and also to make sure it is even more secured.
