Looking this over lets just say it has a 'familiar' feel to it.
I'll keep it in the corner of my eye.

The Exilecoin QT Wallet was updates for Windows,

it uses now --keypool 30 instead 100 and should not crash anylonger.

The Wallet for windows still can't update,Version v1.2.0.0

Adjusted the EXN prices on http://crypto.thebuddyforum.com/

Due to the Mining power, that EXN expiriences, and the increased difficulty,

products that can be bought for 25 EUR now cost 325 EXN.

As i was asked what products that are, that the coin can be exchanged for:

It is bots / automatization software for games like WOW, D3, Neverwinter, Path of Exile, World of Tanks, Star Wars TOR,
product names are Honorbuddy, Demonbuddy, Winterbuddy, Exilebuddy, Tankleader, Buddywing

Now already over 1.000 blocks where generated. There is still not much trading, actucally none. There are also no gifts, since this coin had no premining.

Lets see what the next days will bring, it is somehow interesting that the pool kepps its hashpower around 150 MHs, it is more than i expected.

Good luck mining.

On a side node, cryptsy answered me that we will be added in the future.

And another issue was fixed,

somehow VARIABLE_DIFF = False

it was just fixed and now the pool http://pool.exilecoin.com/  runs at learly 120 MHs  with around 140 Workers

Also got word from BitJohn on my mail from yesterday

"We are considering adding the coin in the near future."

Is pool still down?

No, it is back up. My big concern is that the pool went down right before the blocks stopped being one coin each, and was down for several hours. The pool has mined roughly 153 of the 437 blocks. On top of that there has been very little activity from the coins backer, I would be wary of investing too much time in this.

It is quite hard to get things working as anyone imagines.

For example, i wished i had some more time to prepare the pool, the coin website, the coin shop, the manual how to mine and then announce Exilecoin to the important places at once.

However, as i mentioned before, someone seems to have downloaded the client from github ( simple search for coin will shopw you all new submited coins ), and started hardcore mining with 0.5 KHs ! over the evening.

By the time i woke up, there where already around 100 coins mined, and while until coin 300 the reward is 1 EXN istead of 77, and there was nothing for the above done ( the pool, the coin website, the coin shop, the manual  ), i had to rush through that all.

That the pool died shortly before 300, that again does say much about luck. I had no luck at that day.

But i am sure we made a good start. My community was just presented with the oportunity to buy our software for EXN at http://crypto.thebuddyforum.com, for now i set a price of 1 EXN = 5 Cent in the store, which as of now seems to be around LTC profitability.

LTC profitability sounds bad, but then again, i did not expect 110 MHs to be pushed inth EXN and a diff of nearly 8.

GENERAL STATISTICS
Pool Hash Rate   108370.000 KH/s
Pool Efficiency   99.82%
Current Active Workers   153
Current Difficulty   7.80265292
Est. Avg. Time per Round   5 minutes 9 seconds
Est. Shares this Round   31960 (done: 279.28%)
Next Network Block   759    (Current: 758)
Last Block Found   757
Time Since Last Block   14 minutes 23 seconds

On the other side, i have not seen a pool with that efficiency.

Stay tuned, once we get added to any of the exchanges, then we can use the API to adjust the EXN prices to the EUR prices of our products.

Myriad? Seriously? Jesus, get some perspective. I agree it was suspicious timing with the pool going down, but if the coin had been instamine-raped there would be 5000 blocks (or more) gone, not 458. That says the algo diff adjustment works to keep it stable, even if eventually a big multipool jumps on.

Is that better? You new guys just scream "scam" at every little thing, relax and mine something else already. You can make 0.08 BTC/MH on APC right now, much better than speculating on this.

When did I say scam? All I said was to be wary. Is everyone so melodramatic on this board?

You don't have to be an expert to see the myriad of the problems. If you were launching a coin, wouldn't you want a presence on the forums that you announced it on, especially with the troubles the "official pool" was having. Nice troll post though.
