I am novice when it comes to mining so forgive me but I am confused on how FAI is mined? Is it a combination of algorithms so cpu/gpu can both mine it?

both cpu, gpu can mine it. GPU is faster.Currently gpu miner is not available. We will give big bonus for GPU mining program.

Splitting zip files is a good way to upload content to fai. Sadly this way it won't be displayed withing the client. People itnerested will have to download the files and put them together with their software.

Before FAI gets promoted, i think it would be best to fix all problems first.
For example: No source for the Qt-Client, no binaries for Linux, inserting large files doesn't work, ...
If many people experience this problems, FAI won't grow, because of massive bad feedback from the start.

1 If we open all codes, it means suicide.
2 Linux binary IS available, please send a email to get it.
3 Inserting large file works, but the tutorial is not ready yet. And, we are afraid of large files-- blockchain spam will kill the system.
