Guys, could you please consider forking into BitShares platform?

Read the wiki and understand the basics of the system, like DPoS and TITAN.

http://wiki.bitshares.org/

I think a fork of BitShares when the next version arrives will be awesome.

I'm thinking of how we can transform the DPoS voting system in which the vote of each user is weighted by its stake, into something more.. democratical. We have a software with a already working p2p voting system, in which delegate is elected in ways we could define and redefine Smiley and this delegate is employed by the blockchain to work forwards building the particular ecosystem.

Thanks for the link and explanation, its important to know new developments like this from other cryptocurrencies. I see more that we could get ideas and the modules that we need from one or another, but we dont need to leave our independency forking to an specific framework.
Faircoin will became, by the time an specific framework with their own goals and culture, different that all the cryptocurrency that already exist.

About voting for example, i dont see a voting system directly in the blockchain, but an offchain voting system where the decitions that we agreed in what we call "human based consensus" are implemented in the blockchain.
I think that this method will be very more inclusive for people that are not used to be part of geek stuff, like is the collectives, groups and individuals that we are involving through FairCoop

Hope she did a goob job Wink

hello, thanks for the job of your editor!

In a fast reading i have seen some mistakens, yet that the source is lemonde.fr. i now have readed well the article, or perhaps there are also some translation faults... Smiley

Therefore i will publish here in some minutes, this corrections and will like if you can correct also, for us to share more happy  Wink

regards,

Here the corrections!!

The owner of the movement -> the first promoter of the movement
(an open coop movement dont have an owner! :-)

Enric Dunran -> Enric Duran

to give to advocacy groups and to finance a newspaper -> to give to alternative moviments and publish varios newspapers

Thomas König takes care of the website and the discussion forums as well. ->  Thomas König takes care of the fair-coin.org website and the faircoin discussion forums as well  (if not seems that he is doing this with fair.coop and already have enough work ;-)

To initiate the relaunch, Thomas König and other faircoin owners decided to donate their wallets to Fair Coop -> To initiate the relaunch, Enric Duran, decided to donate the important amount of 10 Millions faircoins to Fair Coop.

At the end of November, when one FairCoin was equal to 0,26 euros, Fair Coop was in control of most faircoins in circulation. ->  At the end of November, when one FairCoin was close to 0,01 euros Fair Coop was in control of 20% of faircoins in circulation.

Enric Dunran is moving on to the second stage: the establishment of a “Fair Credit” system. He is giving out faircoins to different companies and associations intending to rejoin Fair Coop. The beneficiaries have to maintain this social capital, which becomes more valuable as the company’s production grows.  Correction ->  FairCoop is moving to next stages: like the establishment of a Fair Credit system in the form of a mutual credit currency.
This means FairCoin could serve as collateral for a loan system. Before that, FairCoop is organizing the way how the Faircoop funds will be gived to diferent projects and associations intending to join Fair Coop. Before spending it, the beneficiaries will have to maintain this social capital at least one year, which becomes more valuable as the cooperative’s production grows.

For the lazy.

An important update that is part of the bulletin

"FairCoop has received a donation of 12600 euros from lush.com, an international Fair Trade company dedicated to fresh hand made cosmetics, that is involved in helping activists and good causes, like permaculture and animal rights around the world. Our ongoing conversation with Lush continues to make broader collaborations in the near future possible"

Lush have 850 shops in 50 countries. And we are working to create a broather partnership for the next future...

12600 euros?? impressive!!

how these coins will be used?

Part of this budget is being used for all the spends of Fair.Coop between September and January. Included travels to make important contacts and meetings arround Europe.
Other part is going to be used to develop Fairmarket, the online marketplace in faircoin, for the fair economy that will be setup, around January.

Here is the thread about the past spends info:
