Hi guys,

DenKoma has been out of contact for a week now, e1ghtSpace and I are still here. I decided to go ahead and release the new wallets (optional update):

https://mega.co.nz/#F!LQNjwbCY!dWsYEWoNawg1RFABhJ96NQ

What's New:
-CPU usage fixed
-IRC chat added
-Traditional GUI option added (run wallet with -traditional and you will be able to use the traditional layout instead, this is useful for low res displays)

Super POS blocks will be added in soon, once we finish the voting process.

sorry if you already write it but i cant find the answer to my question, is this a mandatory updated?

ohh i just saw that is the same version -> FindCoin version 0.9.3.0

so we should update our wallets just if we want all those fix yes? but not mandatory?

Yes mate. It even says that it is optional, not mandatory. I did update because the old wallet used to run up to 30-40% of cpu usage. Now it doesn't go over 10ish%

Sorry for dumb question....but: what's the safest way  to update my wallet without risking to lose the coins I have in it?

You just run the new wallet version instead of old one; your coins are in your wallet.dat, and it's not affected by wallet versions (stored in different place).
Wow dev is back , I was sure this coin is going to be very useful and strong in near future. I am so happy that dev has posted many replies.

Make a copy of wallet.dat file in other directory using Copy\Paste. Delete all in your Findcoin directory without wallet.dat and run new wallet(qt). That's it!

Glad to see that findcoin devs are getting busy with the plans ahead. Pls post the twitter for findcoin here and we will help out in the distributing about the coin.

@FindCoinz is the official twitter profile. We should get busy tweeting about Findcoin.

Nope, it is not  Smiley we don't have access to that account for now.

Finally some good news, guys. Thanks for all the Dev Team for showing up with the updates.
Now it is community's turn to show the support and promote the coin.
Looking forward to twitter actions to help spreading the word.

Hi guys

Sorry for keeping silence for this week, been stuck with my dayjob  Undecided

I'm here now, we are all here, and I hope you all like Quadmium's new client version Wink

I'll try to make up for my unexpected leave of absence, got some great new things boiling for FindCoin (well, on promo part for sure)

By the way, as far as I can tell, there was not so much enthusiasm about our polls. What's your ideas - how can we promote it better?
What should be done to promote polls, or our Proof of Identity, or any other FindCoin service (if they should be promoted at all)?

I'm asking because 01/02/2015 is coming, and we don't want to create something if even with current FindCoin community all we get is "meh".

Come on, guys, take your part! It's you who can help us shape the FindCoin to your needs and goals.

My todo for tonight:

1) Open "official" FindCoin Twitter and Facebook accounts;
2) Open standalone forum on findcoin.info (heard there was some problems with Bitcointalk, don't want to lose contacts to you all);
3) Start FindCoins giveaway campaign (coins for retweet/repost).

Once again - I'm sorry for not being here for a while  Smiley

Glad to hear you both are still around FindCoin.
And above all happy to see you are doing a grwat job with developing the coin.

keep it up

Yes, it was a bit quiet here these days. This coin doesn't deserve this, glad to see both devs are up. I hope this will take decent part in crypto world!

This is what everyone wanted to hear that Find is alive and will make difference with others. We should always think positive and contribute our role to calm down the situation. Find was and is different coin than others.
