we are the early adopters of this coin. and early adopters feel good when rewarded. i see this coin going much forward in the future. we must have new people in this coin and a broader social media exposure.

Considering social media exposure - here's how it's going to work with polls:

1) After creating your poll you'll be able to share it via facebook or twitter in one click, asking your friends or followers to vote;
2) As long as only registered users can vote - there will be link for registration on poll page - "please register to vote - and get free coins as welcome bonus";
3) You have to get yourself FindCoin address for receiveing free coins = here's brand new member of FindCoin community.

And, it'll work in two directions - a) the creator of poll shares it; b) if the poll is about nominating one particular guy for his scam report - I guess that guy will share it too.

I think it's more effective than buying ads  Wink

Pre-Registered! I have a problem with my wallet. It constantly go offline them back online, most of the time is offline... I have a .conf file. Any new addnodes? Or this is a problem on the Devs side?

Please try to add these nodes in FindCoin.conf file:

addnode=104.236.75.141
addnode=85.233.147.20
addnode=81.30.158.111
addnode=208.109.219.99
addnode=209.126.68.4
addnode=87.92.120.68
addnode=103.243.107.35
addnode=82.247.42.194
addnode=196.210.211.219
Now wallet is back online, thank you. But now I have another problem, I paste my backup wallet.dat in Findcoin folder and when i open my wallet it says file corrupt and changes wallet.dat to wallet.1419863116.bak ...  What can I do?

Try to run FindCoin-qt.exe with parameter -rescan

It does not help ... Any other solution?
One question - when you completely remove wallet.dat from FindCoin folder - is FindCoin starting ok, with no errors?

If so, than I think you have corrupted wallet.dat  Embarrassed maybe something happened with your HDD...

So, the next solution you should try is ... you should back up your wallet, and then run FindCoin-qt.exe with parameter -salvagewallet
It will try to recover private keys out of your wallet.dat. Then, you should remove wallet.dat from FindCoin folder, start FindCoin-qt.exe with new empty wallet (it will be created automatically), and use that recovered private keys to import your FindCoins addresses/balances into new clean wallet.dat.

Guys, thank you all for your interest in FindCoin and for taking your time in pre-registering  Smiley

I've announced pre-registration 26 hours ago, and we have 45 applications now (not bad for such small community as ours).
Unfortunately, 6 of them are from guys who don't meet our requirements (new accounts, almost no posts or obviously somebody's duplicates).

While we are still working on standalone polls system - all welcome rewards will be paid out as soon as it will be up and running - I'd like to ask you to participate in some FindCoin-community activitiy:      Wink

Can you think of questions all our community should vote on, regarding FindCoin state, parameters, development and so on?
Questions that can possibly affect all FindCoin community, so we should all vote on them together?

Like, for example, when we should go to exchanges for listing (it'll be the our first poll)?

Or - should we lower services bounties in favor of community ones? We've lowered our mcap from 20M to 14.5M (27.5%), so maybe we should lower multipool bounty from 100k to 75k, and blockexplorer from 50k to 40k (or even lower - because we've already have one)? And add this 35k saved to 1.5M community bounties pool?

Or - how do you think, what are the most high-demanded, anti-scam related, non-physical goods ands online services we can provide for FindCoins, when we will have our marketplace?

Something like that.

Come on, guys - that's community-driven coin, and we need as much feedback as we can get  Wink

I'm also pre-Registered. However guys , the bounties are still "valid" come on !

          2.26M of all coins are reserved for FindCoin bounties.

          All these coins will be deposited to redsn0w escrow - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/closed-768454
          Current official bounties are:
          500K for scam reports - we will pay 5k bounty for every well-investigated report on altcoins scam you know of. You can write about devs that ripped you off,
                  or services that ran away with clients' money, blaming hackers and hardware malfunction - we'll accept all kind of altcoins scam reports as long as they
                  are compliant with our FindCoin Scam Report Guide (we'll provide it on 29/12/14).
          1000K - reserved for backing up community bounties. If any member of FindCoin community decides to put up FindCoin bounty, we will use this reserve to double up his or her bounty.
          100K - for first FindCoin multipool.
          50K - for first block explorer with richlist.
          8K - for translation to 8 languages, 1k per language: Chinese, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian; another 2 languages - doesn't matter
                        what particularly - will be rewarded until all 8k is spent.
          2K - for FindCoin logo (won by Sarahiko, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9825338)
          600K reserve for future bounties; we are developing community, we're sure we'll think something up.

I pre registered yesterday but didn't receive any confirmation email and any bounty as well. Is that normal?

Yes, it is.

Don't worry, we are still working on some minor fixes for the polls system - when it'll be ready, we will notify everyone and give them their rewards  Wink
(except guys who are not verified due their little BitcoinTalk account's age or messages count)
