Seems the plan is to fork the coin then, once stable after this, deal with issues such as capping and halving; doing it all at once is asking for trouble!

This coin is not dying, it has just been let down by unresponsive devs, the new devs and community are very active and will bring this coin back to life on 18th with the new fixes and launch.
If we learnt anything from Doge is it's the community that makes a coin and this coin has a good, active community behind it.
In most cases if devs did what they have done to this coin it would already be dead, but the community has come together to take over and build the coin back.

Get the wallet from here before 18th http://flappycoin.info/ create an address inside the wallet and then send all your coins from the exchange to your wallet address.
This will ensure you don't lose coins.
After the 18th the devs will update on how to update to new forked wallet.
have just bought another 50m that can burn with the rest..all or nothing im afraid

That said we got Linux/Mac Compilations working and the only reason I have been slightly silent is organizing for 18th and for this week, as well as old dev possibly being back was giving him a time frame to respond and work out things with him.
Doesn't seem like he may be back though.

People selling flap for a couple of liteoshis crack me up. You realize you're not even getting back what you paid in electricity to mine those, right? Be patient and hold. This whole "oh let me sell for a loss now so I at least don't lose EVERYTHING" mentality is beyond retarded. Grow some balls and HOLD!

Well I have a trading plan and I have disclosed it before. Basically once I'm in a coin, I'm in it for a gain or total loss and that's it. I don't sell for a loss, fuck that. I will hold until the coin rises and I decide to lock in profits or it completely dies. Period. The chumps selling at 4 liteoshis are going to be crying if the coin ever turns around and goes up in value.
Once you start selling for a loss and then buying something else, and selling that for a loss, it's a vicious cycle and you will just whittle away whatever profits you might have once had. Grow some balls and HOLD!

Why does the name need to be changed?
Where do you have the info from that it needs to be changed?Someone said a few posts back that they were going to change the name to FlapCoin. I am asking why that is necessary.
