Well, network is indeed slow, and that is explainable... The coins were sent in a single transaction to each investor, and if investor did not divide coins manually, his whole amount is just a single input, which could generate just one block before staking again. The number of investors is not very big (less than the number of confirmations required for coins to stake again), so all together they can barely move the network. That's why it is slow.
Would be useful for someone to split his inputs (especially big investors) and stake coins. Otherwise the network will remain slow, though it could become better with time, as people moving the coins around
EDIT (important):
However if the number of staking inputs currently is not be enough (is less than 70 - and that is highly possible), we would need some PoW blocks to move the network further until it is able to sustain itself with PoS... Unfortunately I suspect that could be the case (as we still have just 44 PoS blocks, but need at least 70, for coins to stake again... To fix this a hardfork could be needed (to either decrease the number of confirmations needed, or add more 0-sized PoW blocks)...
Lets see, I hope my assumptions will not be confirmed, and the network will be able to move itself... One thing is for sure - we need
everybody to stake now, to be able to move the network!
