But they are so active on slack.
we can get their reply immidiately
let the coin grows while the new team will develop more progress and build more useful things for this coin.
with the current amount of swapped coins (around 33k) and 5000 FRDC for masternode only 6 masternodes will be able to be created on network.
we hope more people will swap before the 15th
Why is it rushed so much? Deadline of Oct 15 is too short, and most of the holders are not aware of the swap, as they may check here rarely... Was an announcement made in Yobit chat box at least?
What refers to the ticker, I agree to the previous poster - leaving the FRDC ticker will cause too many problems:
1. Yobit may ignore your request to delist old FRDC coin. That is very probable, because first of all, Yobit is known to ignore requests related to old coins, and secondly - as not all FRDC coins will be swapped, they will still have old FRDC in users wallets, and they have no right to delist the wallet and so voluntarily nullify the holdings of the users who didn't swap. And if they don't delist the old FRDC, you cannot list the new FRDC coin on Yobit.
2. As far as I understand, the swap will be partial (especially with the current rushed dates), so after swap finishes, there will be two independent FRDC coins - both old and new ones. Having the same ticker will create much confusion on markets and even with users sending coins from old wallet to new one and vice versa.
3. FRDC ticker just doesn't sound right to me. To me it always was more sounding like FraudCoin, than FreedomCoin
An unrelated question: can both old and new FreedomCoin wallets be run on the same PC at the same time or in turn)?
1. if yobit ignores the request to remove old chain we will than requested new chain to be added on yobit as XFRDC.
2. we don't want swap to be partial but as you can see there is not much interest from people to swap, we can extend until everyone swap but i don't see any point to that as always there will be someone that won't swap
3. well since old dev leaved after getting his ICO BTC yeah it looked like FraudCoin, but now it will stand for FreedomCoin
