The robot is a big problem. I'm trying to think about this question, but has not been very good solution
Given the nature of the goldminer game, I'm not sure that there is much of anything to be done. It simply isn't a challenging problem for bots.

You should put something in the game to make sure you're not a bot. I'm not sure what you could add; I think captchas would be too annoying.
