This is only a workaround, there is a problem with the file overviewpage.cpp which has bad code: it looks for the file but if does not find it then the wallet crashes.
I hope the GenesisCoin developers fix this in the next wallet updates Wink

Its been fine since. It was caused before due to non vert miners and settings. If you check it now its all working fine.
