Hello, I am one of the first miner and supporter of GLD and my two friends from germany are also supporting GLD with happiness. I have some Ideas and I could help also but we can discuss it together privatly first. But for the public I can say that we need a better website with more information and more languages and of course a decent design. Look at Megacoin as an good example. Second the Gui for Goldcoin should be adapted to the coins name and the design should also show that you have it to do with goldcoin and not the same design like any other coin and so on ....... I like the word of mouth thing, and also the concept of making Goldcoin the Gateway coin to crypto-coins.

Take out the middle man(bitcoin), and let people go directly from real-world currency into Goldcoins. Or from other virtual currencies directly into Goldcoin. Good idea.

why not try to do something like a cross between bitmit.com ebay.com and silkroad where users can sell goods or services for gld another option would be to get ahold of some of the multi altcoin payment processors and speak to them about accepting gld example would be coinpayments.net there is you a few for starters

Implement the zerocoin extension into gld, if possible. This would definently make gld stand out amongs most of the other coins. I don't think that any coin has it at the moment.

Zerocoin would provide additional anonimity to the gold network. While BTC and other coins have limited privacy, zerocoin provides the solution for it. The only coin that is working on implementing it is MEC, kimoto might help but he's hard to reach.

Try asking click to pay sites to include your coins and as an incentive you can advertise their site on your main page. sites like http://abitback.com/ that use btc and ltc... why not gld!!!

You may also try rewarding early adopters if they spread the knowledge and grab some new users (of coarse they must give proof) You can announce this in more forums other than the crypto currency ones - like reddit and redtag . . . . don't limit this to the western hemisphere. There are lots of digital junkies in the east too! Lets take this global baby!
