Yes. I tested out this:

Most people go to help => debug window => console tab - then type walletpassphrase "passwordthatnobodyknowsexceptseefudebecauseyoutellhimeverything" 999999999999999 true

This unlocks your wallet for staking but keeps it encrypted still. Not sure if windows wallet will crash it though, someone wanna test it?

BTW, I copied my wallet.dat to my laptop and left it on overnight but I got no stake.
I got stake on my desktop computer before (around 100 goodies) but not on my laptop.
I just restarted my laptop and I'll post something if it works now.

You can still acquire plenty of GOODs by posting your wallet in your signature or participating in the GOOD discussion. The devs love to go gaga over corny GOOD jokes and memes. There's plenty of other ways to earn free GOODs without joining in on the social network.
