GOOD Goals

Greetings! GOOD aims to be a positive force in the world, not just another cryptocurrency! We aim to do that by making a few bold statements to the world.

The first statement will be that there is still some good left in this world. We plan on doing that by showing that a coin with 51% premine and not a scam CAN exist! I will personally be giving away or feeding faucets, if I have to, until ALL coins are paid out! Rain or shine! If my net goes down, I'll use my neighbors'! If he says no, I'll hack his WIFI! (j/k, I'll use McDonalds) Of course, this also means you will have an active dev. I want to show the world there is also value in honesty and effort.

The second statement will be that although these coins are digital, they can have an effect on our real, physical world. We plan on doing this by showing the many different ways a coin can be used. The exact details of this will become apparent to some eventually, but for now will be left at that in order to maintain our competitive advantage.

The third statement will be that the community cumulatively decides where a coin goes. We plan on accentuating this by putting many decisions the coin must make in the future up to a vote. Do we want to donate 10,000 GOODs to the Red Cross or this Nigerian Prince so he can get home? He promises to pay us back double! Buy a billboard ad or hire a sign spinner? Each vote will cost 1 GOOD. Everyone has an opinion, some try to force it upon others. This will put a cost to it.

Human Mining GOODs

GOOD will be scrypt based, forked from Blackcoin, but with a few twists! The first major twist as you can see is the payout. Rather than rewards starting high and halving like most coins, the block rewards will start low and rise relatively quickly, before gradually dropping. This will make it less essential to be there at first launch, and hopefully less DDoSing and launch drama. Be good to each other people!

The second major twist, is the human mining! Every day, for each coin mined, an amount will be given away through faucets, contests, giveaways, bounties, etc. That's right, bounties. These bounties will start small and easy, and evolve over time. Even pool operators' bounties will be paid their bounty over time, instead of one lump sum. A portion to faucets, a portion to contests, a portion to giveaways, a portion to bounties, etc. 49% scrypt mined, 49% human mined, 2% to be decided by the community at the end. Premined coins will not be staked for PoS. Everything will be transparent.

Here is a start to how the human mining will work, and will change over time:

Faucets: Trade your time for GOODs! Get ready to click for GOODs!
Giveaways1: Have your GOOD address in your signature. These will be paid out randomly as I browse the forums. The higher your activity, the higher the payout (i.e. Newbies with activity 1 will get a lot less GOOD). Posting only your address and asking for coins will get your post deleted
Giveaways2: Post a MEME or picture related to GOOD with your GOOD address in either the MEME or signature. Can post pictures of your mining rig, car, cat, shoes, baby, your special mac'n cheese recipe, the actual recipe to your special mac'n cheese, your custom made spatula, your first attempt at digital drawing that turned out better than you thought until you looked at it the next day, as long as it took effort and creativity, or whatever you take pride in. There may be themes to this as we go. The cooler or funnier, the more you will get, as long as it's not mean. Picture of Grandma showing she can still move her GOODs? Cool I guess. Picture of Grandma showing her GOODs while she's changing? That's mean! Not good with pictures, but have a way with words? Post a short story about what's GOOD! Better with less words? Post a joke! Like to use more words, and explain everything in your own style? Make a blog and post a link here! No matter what you're good at, there will be a way for you to earn GOODs as long as you put in the effort!
Giveaways3: I will be visiting random trollboxes and passing out GOODs. Not everyday, but sometimes several times a day. Also, if I spot a GOOD address anywhere that isn't BCT, be sure that a bounty will be paid!

- All platforms, all types. Dice, wheels, RPG (with daily quests as a form of faucet would get a nice bonus), just about all types as long as GOOD is somehow integrated into the game!.
- Would love to see PVP type games, where site acts as escrow, players play for a wager, and site takes a percentage. Even chess or scrabble would work.
