Dear miners.

Today I did a big mistake that lead me to sending out ~4.5mil gra to most of the addresses that mined blocks since 100000 through 130000. I am so frustrated that I will not process today the payments for blocks. I will do it anyway tomorrow or day after tomorrow according to the records on this thread what have not been paid yet.

Thank you.

P.S. I will appreciate your good will to return mistakenly sent grains to this address 9D2yGsiqBzq2qmX58pCi9jgNPLubNwGGfV.

Sent 4.5m grain to every address or 4.5m in total? If you sent 4.5m to every address then it can get alittle messy...

No, in total. And later I found that 600k has been sent to my own address, so the "giveaway" is approximately 3.9mln. Anyway, it is my mistake and it will be a good remind to myself to double check double checked. Fortunately, this amount does not exceed the total grains I mined to the moment.

So you lost your own coins?? Or some of the promo coins?? I didn´t recieve any, but i will sent some coins to the address shown above... Wink

As it was my mistake it was my coins. Isn't that fair?

I wasn't solo mining much yesterday, so It's very unlikely I received any compensation payouts, but If I did I will let you know.

Just keep your wallet open (and encrypted), when your coins are eligible (min 10 days coinage (moving coins resetts the coinage)) you will get a PoS-Block... it may take longer than 10 days, but don´t worry, you´ll get your payment... Wink

Ok, but if I keep the wallet encrypted it says minting suspended due to a locked wallet? Is that a problem?

Can anyone tell me how to mine or "mint" coins for Grain using PoS?

Do I need to keep the wallet always open?

Thanks.

My apologies, and thank for the explanation. Was semi-afk when I posted that.

Also, I didn't destroy the coin age of those coins; I just received that gracious donation. So I suppose I'll have to wait 10 days for those coins to age before I sip from their lovely POS spirits, lol.

You don't need to open all the time the client. Once the coin-day meets the POS reqiurements, and any time when you open the client, the client will start to mine the pos blocks. If you don't open the client, the coin-days will just accumulate until the time you open the client, all the coin-day accumulated to that time will be used to generate the pos block, so you will not lose anything.

Got it, I do have one last question. Do the coins Received from POS also apply to future POS coins Received after their coin age also reach 10 days?

The coins received from pos are similar to pow mined coins, they will be held in "stake" (together with their "source" - if 2 coins are generated from 100 coins in a pos block, then the 102 coins will be held in "stake", you will see your balance decreased by 100 coins, they moved to "stake"). Now the "stake" will take 50 confirmations to "mature" (same as PoW minted coins in "immature"), once matured, the coins will be added back to "balance". All coins in "balance" will be counted for new pos generations.

Yes. All coins in your wallet, including earned by means of PoS and/or PoW mining or received in a regular transaction (including transactions you send to yourself) eventually (after they are 10 days old) become eligible for the PoS mining.

Haven't moved the coins at all. Is the 2 weeks of holding mean 2 weeks worth of having the wallet open (336 hours of having the wallet open) or just 2 weeks after the coins have been minted?

Also, thank you to the kind soul that just sent me a donation.  Smiley

Please read the answer just above your post.

Hi all, so its been a few weeks and I've been mining and storing grain in my wallet. But I have yet to receive any interest on my stored grains! Has anyone received an interest payout?

Thanks

GRA: 9LSgR13Uz9Vzcje6gqDENSoW6cJJsmUWpf

Thanks to the kind soul for the 5000 GRA donation. Still no interest, but thank you very much!

It can take a while. Yeah, I've been getting interest. Are you keeping your wallet open?

Have this problem too, absolutely no interest and I leave the wallet open constantly when my laptop is turned on, which is fairly often (10-12 hours a day, more on my days off). Could it be that I'm currently mining other coins or because I only have 897.418965 GRA in my wallet?

GRA: 9JgnvkJnhNmYahurH3wrsU6962pbe6KFsL

Usually the pos blocks start after about 2 weeks of holding of the coins in the wallet. If you move the coins around (from one wallet to another), count time will reset. So please be patient. The pos block will be generated once the coin-day satisfy certain conditions.
