Perhaps it is a good idea to start some competitions.
Doing competitions is always a good idea as long it is original and not boring.
1) The one with the most instagram likes about GRS wins a certain amount of GRS.....
2) The second one is a girl hottest competition where the winner wins a X amount of GRS....is on the front of our main page.. and is with name, credentials our official GRS ambassador for the coming year.
We have to use the tools we have:
We don't have a instagram, so no option.
Our smallest community is on Bitcointalk forum, Groestlcoin forum, Linkedin, IRC, Reddit and Google plus. These are so tiny that you can count them on 2 hands. So these are no options also.
Our medium community are on qq international (125 chinese members) and facebook (500 members).
Our biggest community are on twitter (almost 30.000 followers) and slack (400 members, this sounds small but for Slack it's big). So we should use one of these for the competition.
Who doesn't like a hot girl?! :-) I would propose that the hottest chick with the most retweets wins a certain amount of GRS. Please determine:
What is a fair ammount? The development team will donate the GRS.
When the competition starts and ends? The community itself should setup the competition from A to Z.
But in my opinion we have to do something. Some kind of marketing
Marketing responsibility lies on the community itself. We expect that any of you step up and arrange the competition (or whatever marketing). The development team is mainly responsible for technical developments. There are many good idea's, but instead talking about marketing we should act like the development team: no bla bla but just deliver. If the marketing fails, so be it but atleast we had fun and you don't lose any coins.
Maybe a good idea to start a joint account the more fanatic guys, not too much GRS in there of course for fraternity, bounding but
above all to finance projects to increase our GRS familiarity, to have a plan to finance these projects in the future.
Before starting a funding wallet, it is better to have a group marketeers. The funding is not the main problem, the main problem is that our community is holding back and not taking any initiative to do marketing. Yes all people have idea's. But nobody is actually doing something with those ideas. The barrier to change that idea into reality is to high i guess for the community.
