very interesting concept. I think this would be the first ICO I'll invest in Wink

what guarantees do investors have that the units will be delivered on time as advertised and that's the relief if they're not?

Would u buy a miner thats dilivered next year ?(12 months)
The chip specs look really nice but why does it take a year to assemble the miner?

If you doubt, you are more than welcome to give them a call and talk to them yourselves. I have. This is a real company. These are real people:

http://cleverhash.com/about-us/

People willing to attach their real names, address, and phone number to this project. That carries some weight with me, at least.

I don't doubt that - I just think their investment model is very lopsided in favor of them.

After all - the people getting in at this stage are 'technically' Angel investors and should get the same incredible deal as any other Angel investor.

the real litmus test of thier offering would be to put it on Kickstarter or any of he other early stage investment sites and see how 'skilled investors' greet their offering.

true, they need something more to motivate more first time investor  Grin

man o man - if there is only thing I have learned in this business (from several bad experiences) - it's that no one (other than the seller) ever makes out well pre-purchasing hardware , especially since other announcements will be coming soon about XNN asic machines - the price war is about to start

the cat is out of the bag

the secret XNN asic hashing that's been going on by some chinese chip builders will now become public

To shift 4,000 units shows the expectations of this company. Can you imagine if they realise a success with this?

It is exactly this sort of thing I look to invest in. If I wanted "safe" investments, I'd stick with stocks and shares.

I'm in. Cheesy

so the real question is this: how long will it take all the valuable XNN coins to fork to an XNN asic-resistant algo...

what you may have here is a hardware solution to a non existent marketplace...

this is afterall the reason these algo's exists and that's to be asic resistant.

I was told a few months ago that XNN asic were being tested at low hash rates not to raise any eyebrows and I guess they're finally arrived.

ps:

Genesis Block Distribution:
5,000 HASH - Reserved for HASH Community Bounties - Distributed at the end of ICO.
5,000 HASH - Cleverhash Crypto-Family Benefit - Boomcoin proportional community distribution - Distributed at the end of ICO.

$2,500 each is very reasonable - it's an interesting offer that I'll have to examine

but if X11 X13 X15 disappeared , what can we do next ,\will pay more money for update?

That is what I am thinking as welll, Why did X11 etc appear? Because they wanted to be ASIC Resistant.

...and the cycle starts again.

So this will drastically decrease prices of all x11/x13/x15 coins that still can be mined?

that's about right... LOL
