Not down, just turned stat reporting down to 10 mins to see if it helped reduce server load - I am pushing the server to its limits so trying to lighten the load. Mining server was not switched off.
The problem is:
Why mine on your pool? The other has more than 51%. Chances of a fork are big. Better mine on the longer chain.
We need more stable pools.
Pool is stable - I don't mine on the server - It's just the amount of requests are peaking the CPU - Ideally I need a more powerful server but I don't have the funds for it

http://speedminers.com/hotcoin is back! Had to manually look through the daemon code to fix a couple of bugs which were causing a higher amount of rejects.. We should get more block accepts now!
