Thanks folks, I had some 5830s and one of the fans seized so I bought an R9 290 TRI X, its running at 68 degrees Smiley my 5830s were running in the 80s so im happy with the temp.

I plan of shutting it down every now and again but that being said im not opposed to buying another now scan.co.uk accept bitcoin.

You can buy some replacement fans for the 5830s on ebay. It just takes a screwdriver to change it out. I've still got one running as well.

I can change the fan easily enough, been blowing up computers for 16 years now lol. I Will probably give it to my friend who has just started mining.

I've been running my 6950 for about 2-3 months straight and have not had to much of an issue. If you make sure to set you fan speeds to run high to keep temps lower. You will also find if you take the side off of the case it will help keep the gpu cooler if you do not have ample case fans... although you will most likely get dust substantionally quicker. I usually shut mine down for 30 mins one every week or two to blow the dust out and it usually drops the temps by about 10DEG. But my place is abnormally dusty. Right now i am running 70 or so degrees, if i put the side of the case back on it jumps up a good 5-10 more lol....

I've had some 5850s running 24/7 at 100% load since early 2011. Temps in the mid to upper 80s. I've yet to have one die, but the fans need to be replaced every couple years.

Hey folks, my fiance has finally said I can leave my computer on 24/7. The question I ask now is, how long do you guys leave your gpus on for? Mine has been on for 3 days straight now but im not sure if it needs a break, can anyone advise?

Many thanks
Turning off your machine for a little from time to time is always a good idea.
Although, it's clear that gpu's that are mining 24/7 degrade faster. This all depends on what temperatures your gpu's are running at and such.

Personally, I don't have a dedicated mining rig. So I just let my pc mine for a couple of days sometimes. But not 24/7.

i hope the devs could implement komoto gravity before we are hitting coinwarz....

otherwise i expect a massive multipool-attack  Undecided Roll Eyes
Coinwarz is connected to our API and the coin should appear there automatically if all other factors are OK.

Great news and great job on getting ICN listed on coinmarket.io !! Smiley  Hopefully we see some good trading volumes to keep the coin there.
And yes, if the price goes up, it wouldnt take much to be one of the most profitible im sure, and be prone to an attack. I know the retargets are somewhat stable compared to other coins, but we yet to have seen what a multipool will do to us.

Also looks like i got a block at 21978 so i snuck in just under the last of the 100 payouts Cheesy, 3 finds on my junky 400kh/s

Notice from CoinMarket.io: do not set low autopayments from your pools towards CoinMarket.io
We are talking about 25-150 deposits per day (some people do this) - its too much.
