Great News everybody! Our technical department worked excessively on our new app during the last few weeks and now it's finally here! The Beercoin Scanner app is available for Android and finally also for iOS.
Additionaly we will attend the "Beer Pong und Gründercafé mit Tobias Meyer von Beerchain Event" this thursday where you will be able to actually use the app to scan codes and spend the received Beercoins to buy beer!

Beercoin want to offer breweries a way to fight for their market share with the pinnacle of modern technology. Participating breweries can offer their consumers a beer which not only tastes great, but enables the consumer to mine a cryptocurrency with it.
I do not understand why there are so few comments on this project. It seems that the beginning was good and beer lovers were millions. In general, it is not clear.
If you think that at this forum all beer lovers are gathered, then you are mistaken.
And if it's serious, then I think the project needs more advertising to be noticed by potential investors.

This however isn't to much of a setback since we were able to acquire partner brewerys and new investors during the past weeks.

The road map made an impression on me. The amount of work that needs to be done is just impressive. Do you plan to use KYC procedure at your ICO or it will be fully anonymised? Do you have one-pager with the most important information to attract investors at the stage of acquaintance with the project?
Last Tuesday our CTO Christoph had a pitch at the Craft Beverage Entrepreneurship lecture at the TU Darmstadt.
There he talked about our company, its history and the obstacles a startup has to overcome. Afterwards he held a Q&A session and the students were able to mine some Beercoins.

During our time in Hamburg we participated in the Unchain pitch competition. Apart from us multiple other IT companys took part and competed agains us.
The jury consisted of Erik Voorhees (CEO Shapeshift), Tim Reheder (Earlybird VC), and Moritz Schildt (Co-founder of coinIX).
Apparently our CEO did a good job at convincing the jury of our ideas, because at the end we reached the 2nd place!
