Maybe the reason is that most investors are now holding some of their coins and that is why it is really hard to reach such amount of value. The team did a good strategy which is the reason they almost reach the full target and I think the team already earned enough funds to continue their project.
I don't think any of those articles will attract an investor at all. Imagine someone putting 50 ETH into a project. That person doesn't do it because you get a coat as a reward. Same for the cap.
