Totally different, the other one you mentioned is just for advertising data and only companies and publishers get paid, not the user., pretty narrow use case imho and there is already the Basic Attention Token and others in the same market.

Datum is for your data, and the important difference is that Datum pays you for your own data. The scope of Datum is also not limited to just advertising data but expands to all sorts of data like health, finance etc.

3 billion is an arbitrary number...since it's infinitely divisible....bitcoin with max cap 1 bitcoin would be same today.

just think in market cap.
