I don't really know why the price have to be that high though but if it's any consolation, they offer some discounts to payment made with DEVX token as regards bootcamp.

I think that the price for a bootcamp is high, but you will get a first class education and then you are fit for the future.

I hadn't even thought of that, people buying DEVX as a source of churn to get the discount on the bootcamp, thats a LOT of tokens changing hands means a huge boost to exchange demand, as long as they can keep demand high for the bootcamp, this is the kind of stuff that brings tangible results from crypto and ties the 2 worlds together.

True, the implementations that are embedded in this project, will surely boost the value of the tokens, education don't come cheap, hence anything that will encourage more students to enroll in the bootcamp will lead to massive entry rate, just like the discount that developeo is implementing and it revolves around using their token

13K USD is reasonable price I agree considering the fact how much knowledge one will get out of such bootcamps. But if the target group is student community, its really expensive for them.

It really depends on the country; there are countries where that is a really huge sum of money. If the bootcamp is done online or on a spot that would also matter; for the later it would make sense given you will be booking for a physical location and for a period of time. Of course if we are to compare to some bootcamps that is a quite reasonable. The point I am trying to make here is that there are several details to account to be able to decide if that sum is high or low

The 20% discount is good but wouldn't be able to help someone cover the remaining fees but i guess all these depends on the price of devx token before payment for bootcamp kick off, maybe we might be seeing dex for 2000 dollars per 1 devx.

maybe they should mention that much more often. If you want to pay a bootcamp with tokens, you only have to buy about 1/8 tokens now later. by being much more expensive later on, you can now buy the necessary tokens for a boot camp much cheaper ($ 0.05 now and $ 0.4 at the ICO, even more on the
exchanges in the next few years)

I do agree with you , but 13k is really on the high side though. Would be nice to be clarified by the team anyway

May be 20% discount is attractive. But I am still thinking this as high price for students. They have to pat for university and in combination with this, it would be too high burden for them. May thats just my view.

Yeah thats my thinking, obviously customers can pay in fiat if they want to, but why would they if they can use Developeo for a 20% discount and after the ICO the only place to get tokens will be on exchanges which will obviously increase the volume of trading.

If you go on their website at the section bootcamps and you read the price it says that the price per student will be around 13000 USD, i did not know about the 15% discount.

Its an interesting way to handle longterm revenue generation, though i fear that the price may push it out of some peoples scope of what they can afford, even for a SMB nearly 12k is a high price to pay, but then again bootcamps tend to be pretty extensive and are expensive by nature, so its really not that high a price overall. And depending on the breakdown of the revenue will go very far for the team and instructors.

Yeah bootcamps are always expnsive i think Developeo offers a fair deal with 15% discount along with 20% distributed to reward pool/instructors. So compared to other bootcamp out there Developeo is relatively fair.
