It seems like some researchers from the University California Berkeley had a breakthrough in the fight against aging (http://news.berkeley.edu/2018/04/25/long-sought-structure-of-telomerase-paves-way-for-drugs-for-aging-cancer/). Would be interesting to hear the opinion of Aubrey de Grey about this discovery and what it maybe means for his research.

Yes, that would be nice to hear from here too. I think Aubrey de Grey is the most important person of the team here, so his opinion would be an amazing addition Smiley Was he involved in the research?

Yes, he is like the lebron James of cleveland.

I would also love to hear his opinion.

As we see, this sector is constantly being researched and improved, if the project can prolong the average life expectancy for people, then this will be a great progress for humanity!

yeah ofc, it is something new for those companies, but if you are not aware how to handle things, like getting in community manager, then how are you going to handle your own business ^^"

Good point. I stand down on this debate. I see what you mean. If you are trying to raise money for a company in the medical industry with all it complicated methods of operation, you should know where the most important piece of your campaign is sitting collecting dust. I would like to nominate you as community manager for this project and thread. What say ye'?

800000 Usd is a good number for start, thinking that they raised this in the bear market,

but sadly, lack of communication from dev team is still existing. Hopefully they'll show some attention to here.

Maybe the team is super busy right now, I guess we should try to contact them thru other communication channels such as telegram and emails to address our concerns.
Telegram should be the best option for now, they have a community manager there, so the response/answer will be quick there.

There is something you guys got to realize. This may be hard to believe but a lot of these companies that are doing ICOs were not really regular BTCT daily visitors. Some never even knew this forum existed until someone told them about ICO money and that they had to post here. It bugs me too that some companies just drop an Ann thread here and don't bother to stick around to be part of the thread created. It is what it is though. I think someone from the community that is in here daily and believes in this project should step up and make themselves community manager.

Do not feel left out for this reason, the lack of communication comes from the work they have been doing, and not having someone dedicated solely to this forum prevents the Team from giving us all the attention, the project is credible and your Team works behind the curtains. I've received replies via email, and there's still activity on other channels

let's hope so, but first they gotta get past the ICO successfully.
It is still plenty of time before the main sale start. Btw, what is the result of the private placement? How much money they collected during such event?
Theyve raised $800,000 USD on the private placement, it has been mentioned many times on the previous pages.

Taking into account the market situation back then I think that wasn't a bad amount.

No, not bad at all, I agree. They gonna have more stages of ICO with significant times in between them, so I believe they will be able to raise enough for project development.

What do you mean exactly? Will the ICO be held in different rounds? How many rounds will there be?

It seems to be be quite an interesting discovery, these people are probably going to be on a run for the nobel prize. Would be indeed interesting hearing what Aubrey or any othe team member thinks about it.
Its a big discovery and if they can understand, whats going on in our DNA, they can make our live longer and healthier.
We can expect many new discoveries in the near future, because computer will help us to decode and understand many processes in our body.

thats where the blockchain can make big plays. when you identify the gene and you, as a patient, have your genedata uploaded to EHF for example, you can be matched with it and fight against it before even sympthomes occur

these are exiting news. I also hope that in a couple of years you'll see EHF helping the researchers and the users.
It looks that there're many teams doing researches about this. I don't think we will see the results for several years.

Not necessarily, there could be little milestones, where people can start with. For example an app, which collects data while you are making sport. Or a device which can examine your saliva, urin and so on.

Yes that would be awesome. But those devices need time and developement, i dont think its a thing for a startup. They need to focus on the software first.

they could partner up with health monitor. they have working machines right now.

Maybe even insurance companies will develop such apps. The more data they have and the healthier you are the more money the insurance will save.

Actually is 800k user after having prepared a mvp or something like that if i remember correctly. Maybe they are indeed putting their heads together to come up with something good which may represent in part what is going to be the final product.

For sure, health is a very hard subject and it will require seriousness from people who involved in it. That means the result from such project will be available in the long term.
