Thanks I did like what you told and now its mining perfectly fine. I am really sorry for troubling you again because I am technically not so strong. I have one more doubt. Where can I find the mining details? I mean how many coins mined? I checked all over the mining app and I couldn't find that. Where can I see the details regarding that?

Glad to help sir  Cheesy

This is for US
https://uspool.electroneum.com/

this is for Europe
https://eupool.electroneum.com/

However i am getting problems with connection on this sites.
Maybe because there is huge trafic in this sites.....so you need to refresh more the once..
give it a try

Can I use USA or ASIA pool if I am in Europe? Because Euro pool does not work here.

I think yes, give it a try and see if you get coins.
I have not personally tried that.

There is no way at the moment to check it. Impossible to use their pool websites, no way to check address balance too. Thanks for answers by the way.

How about for asia? how to see the mined details

That is only true for algos that use the RAM rather than clock. Plenty of algos that prefer the 1080. I will just have to deal with it on cryptonight. Happy enough with the results anyway.

Sorry, it's still not a good mining card and here is why:
A 1080 gets 38 on skunkhash, tops. Compared to a 1070 which runs at 30 hashes for that algo. That's a gain of 20%, sounds good so far. But the thing is you could've bought three 1070s for the price of two 1080s.
The wattage of a stressed 1080 is at 185, a 1070 eats up 160 watts.

Yeah that is understandable and I am aware of the efficiency. I did not build my rig for mining though and already had the cards, so I use what I have Cheesy Thanks for the info.

can this realistically be mined using mobiles?

Of course not. They should have banned or at least limited CPU\GPU mining. And it's not. So no point at all to use smartphone to mine ETNs (and it's not active too).

Since it's just simulated mining on mobile, they can adjust the reward rate on the mobile miner however they want, as long as they still have plenty of ETNs in the mobile mining reward reserve.

I don't think you read wallpaper, did you?

No, I never read "wallpaper", but at least I follow all posts on the thread and know where to download the client  Grin

There are 174 pages. Can you link it please?

Around page 160. There were also some discussions and screenshots shared last night by other ids that might worth a look.

We are in the same boat man. Fear of just wasting time + electricity is top level.

What hashrate are people getting? I can only manage 600 H/s on a GTX 1080, sound about right? Getting 400 H/s with my i7. Not a lot of difference between GPU and CPU

About 667 H/s per 1070.

What miner? That is significantly higher than my 1080.

Due to the complex vRAM logic of a 1080 there are no miners yet who excel the hashrate of a 1070.
Sorry, it's just not a mining card.

Joining the party since im tired of not be able to see mining statistic.

Same here. Really fond of 'official' not working pools. Can't ever see my address balance. Absurd thing.

You can check your balance anytime by syncing your wallet. No need to do that through the block explorer.
If you have a paper wallet, simply use the param
Code:
--generate-from-keys arg
for the cli.

Sapphire 4 x 580 (Elpida) switched from eth+dcr to Electroneum with these settings. I didn't change the settings. These are the results.
2780 h/s for 4 cards
Core Voltage -90
Core clock    1100
Memory clock 1999
cards are below 50C with fan speeds 50% room temperature 27.2C
I didn't play with it at all, so I don't know the power consumption.

Client? Which client? There is no client wallet available for Electroneum. Can you link it please?

And how to use block explorer to check balance? Just transactions are present.

Does anybody know (or can direct me to) the formula to determine if solo mining could be profitable.

EDIT: Apologies for incomplete sentence.
EDIT2: I meant daily mining reward calculation

very new to cryptocurrency. Question for experts here, i see that they will be applying in 9 exchanges as mentioned in FB post. Are there plans to apply at coinbase in future ?

I have some cryptocurrency in coinbase account, and am assuming i can transfer it to the exchanges ETN will be listed in to buy more ETN. What do experts recommend to be a good exchange, was thinking of opening account in Poloniex.

Coinbase is not a "normal exchange"...so i dont think we will see electronum there soon..
Coinbase is not generally used for daily exchange....it is more used a gate to the crypto world...
you buy there bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin with fiat, and then do to exchanges to trade

depends on your goal
Which are they ?

Let’s say i want to sell my ETN coins for fiat and take my money out. How do i do that? TIA

CCMiner 2.2.2

Could you pm your config please. It auto sets the intensity in ccminer with this algo so not much to play with.

No special config at all.

Quote
ccminer-x64 -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://eupool.electroneum.com:3333 -u WADRESS -p x -i 0

Got my gpus pretty much oc'ed tho. But as its memory intensive i guess it could be the RAM issues with the 1080s? Wasnt there something?

You just don't understand how it works. All the real mining is done by CPU and GPU miners, the app simulates mining and rewards you with coins. You can't and will never be able to use a phone for the proper mining. It would kill your phone.

I got about 550 H/s on my RX 480 last night. Compared to the CPU miner, the GPU wasn't generating shares as fast as the hashrate suggested, so I switched back to mining ETH with the GPU and only mine ETN with the CPU.
