I can confirm that I mined with the 'beginners' windows miner this morning and submitted about 21 shares before it stopped working.

I also started 'direct/solo' mining (on windows) which is still running and reporting hashrates, though no blocks solved yet.

but you can still safely mine with a computer and use your public address to mine.
oh really? I am using the linux wallet, it is not syncing. Error message:
2017-11-01 07:05:11.781   [P2P0]   WARN    net.dns   src/common/dns_utils.cpp:487   WARNING: no two valid ElectroneumPulse DNS checkpoint records were received

I think you should provide more documentation and troubleshooting on your website

Yes, the binaries are broken for two distributions that I tried it, Ubuntu 16.04 and Debian Stretch. You have to compile for your own, then it will work, at least on my Ubuntu 16.04 install. This has been mentionend by me several times, maybe you search for the posts within this thread.

The most EPIC FAIL launch ever.

How many launches have you been on where you were being protected by the devs from a high profile hack where the hackers are using a botnet against the coin, and they STILL LAUNCHED and there were no transactions working yet??

If we didnt have such high profile devs that are experts in security and pretty damn clever, you wouldnt see this type of success combined with none of your coins getting stolen.

This reason this happened, is with 370,000 registered users on the website, those with weak passwords, which numbered in the thousands, got hacked. The devs found out and shut down the transactions so that those people wouldnt lose their coins.

Everything will be like you are used to seeing it, as soon as everything is safe.

The devs were not about to let thousands of people lose their coins to hackers just because their passwords didnt have uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters; those werent hacked.

So was the website breached, or the accounts?

Accounts were breached due to weak passwords set by the users. So they found their emails changed, in an attempt to steal the coins once we went live.

This was caught shortly before the launch, so that is why the mobile miner is down, and there are no transactions yet, but you can still safely mine with a computer and use your public address to mine.

The devs stopped the hackers from successfully stealing even 1 coin.

Cool, thanks for confirming! It still amazes me that people use 'password1' even when protecting their investments..
